The PL-9000 controls virtually all vital processes on your poultry farmThis poultry computer is ideal for a house with two climate zones. It automatically monitors and controls ventilation, heating, lighting, relative humidity and CO2, to guarantee an optimum climate in the poultry house. The pre-programmed growth curves enable the climate to grow along with your animals. The large graphic display gives you a full overview of your house at a single glance. The PL-9000 is easy to operate using pushbuttons, and because unused functions are not display-ed, the control system is kept quite uncomplicated and easy to read.

Feed costs are an important factor for your company. Adding feed weighing to your PL-9000 provides you with an accurate insight into your animals’ feed intake. The PL-9000 works as a registra-tion panel for your feed or silo weigher by means of pulse feedback.

FarmConnect is Stienen BE’s innovative Cloud Computing system. You can ac-cess your farm data from anywhere in the world by means of the IP-485 gate-way. All management information from the process computers is stored in the cloud via the data centre. You can use an SLL-protected web browser to log on and all data, which may concern dif-ferent locations, is centralised to give a comprehensive overview. FarmConnect keeps you ‘connected’ to your farm, wherever you may be.

The EGM motors have been specially developed to control air intake systems in intensive livestock buildings. The EGMs are fitted with robust brushless 24V motors with a tractive force of 100 and 250 kg respectively. The integrated microprocessor continuously monitors the maximum torque, thus preventing damage due to overload. The EGM series is supplied with a cable drum as a standard feature and is available with a 0-10V control signal or potentiometer feedback. In combination with an in-telligent end station, the EGM-CA can control the motor and provide feedback about its exact position by means of communication through a single cable. This minimises the need for wiring, resul-ting in attractive cost savings.
