WELCOME PLAZA - Orientation to the park and event plaza space

STABLES AND MARKET PLAZA - Stable building refurbished to market stalls with surrounding plaza for visitors and additional stalls.

PICNIC LAWN - Picnic lawn and over ow vendor tent space. Minimal land disturbance to preserve specimen oak.

VETERAN’S MEMORIAL PLAZA AND FIREPIT - Existing memorials are formalized with a plaza and a re pit

EVENT LAWN - A 180’x160’ space for free play and special events.

EVENT PAVILION - Multifunctional pavilion to serve as stage, rentable pavilion, outdoor classroom space, and picnic shelter. Plantings frame the eastern side of the pavilion, creating a more intimately scaled setting for ceremonies.

CONCESSIONS AND RESTROOMS

SPLASH PAD - Separated from picnic lawn by play mound and separated from event lawn by seatwall.

NATURE-PLAY PLAYGROUND - A nature-based creative play space with mounds, hill slides, boulders, balance logs, stump hops, outdoor instruments, and a living willow house.

CHILDREN’S PLAY FOREST - A continuation of the landform playground, the play forest would be planted with small understory trees and arranged with stumps and logs for imaginative play.

HEDGE MAZE - A variety of small shrub species planted in clumps and borders creates a playful space of multiple wander routes, quiet nooks with benches, and a great place for tag. Shrubs kept to 3’ height for visibility.

COTTAGE GARDEN - Ornamental perennial garden with pea gravel paths, benches, statuary, and potentially a gazebo

FOREST WALK - Native overstory trees with some understory trees, shrubs, and forest perennials. Informational signage identifying plants and habitats.

MEADOW - Native grass and wild ower meadow with mown paths. Informational signage identifying plants and habitats.

WALKING PATH - Crushed stone surface for ADA compatibility.

NEIGHBORHOOD ACCESS/SIDEWALK CONNECTION

PLANTED BUFFER - Potentially with fence

PARKING LOT (42 SPACES)

OVERFLOW PARKING (93 SPACES) - Load-bearing grass pavers will function as open lawn when not used for special event parking

SPLASH PAD PUMPHOUSE AND EQUIPMENT BUILDING - Could include a single restroom/changing room.

WEDDING OR CEREMONY AREA - Uses cottage garden as preparation “room.”
