GREENSBURG JR HIGH 2016-2017 We would like to recognize our 2016-2017 GJHS Academic Team. The team has participat-ed in several meets so far this year. In their most recent meet, held in the GJHS Auditorium, the Pirate team received 1st place honors in math & 2nd place honors in science. After school Science STEAM Club starting every Tuesday from January 31st 3-4pm in Mrs Freeman's classroom.

All 6th grade students welcome.

GJHS SUPPORTS RILEY HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN!

GJHS will be having a Change War to benefit Riley Hospital the week of February 13th. Homerooms will compete against each other to see who can bring in the most money for Riley. The winning homeroom will win a prize. On Friday, we will have a Riley Dance Marathon from 4:00-7:00 PM. The cost will be $3.00 for general admission or $5.00 if the student wants to play "Knockout Basketball," Other activities besides dancing and "Knockout" are being planned, as well. All pro-ceeds from this dance will be sent to Riley Hospital for Children.

Bowl for Kids Sake will be Sunday March 5 at Parkside Lanes. Teams consist of 5 members and they are asked to raise money for Big Brothers/Big Sisters from pledges. You will bowl for one hour and the event is giving away a large amount of prizes! Any student who would like to participate should see Mrs. Burkhart.
