PSNC – ICT CenterPSNC, affiliated to the Institute of BioorganicChemistry of Polish Academy of Sciences, foundedin 1993, is a well-known institution of researchand development in the field of ICT in Europe and an important hub for the European ResearchArea in the field of science infrastructure.
Projects implemented in the framework of European and international research programmescover many areas, including: radio astronomy, medicine, new media, knowledge platforms and digital libraries, applications of grand challenges, cyber security and Future Internet technologies.
PSNC completed over 170 such projects, 22 in the Horizon 2020 programme.
PSNC – Prizes and awardsPSNC has won numerous prestigious awards.
In 2004, 2010 and 2016 PSNC was awarded the Crystal Brussels Prizes in recognition of outstanding implementation of the EU projects.

CBPIO - Polish Optical Internet Research Center• CBPIO is a modern complex offering many
specialized facilities for R&D community. In addition to modern laboratories, the main hub of Polish Optical Network PIONIER is located at CBPIO, connecting Poland with the pan-European GÉANT network and directly to CERN, LOFAR and High Performance Computing Centers, linked to European PRACEand EUDAT initiatives. CBPIO was officially opened 22 September 2015.
