Predictive maintenance

OEM maintenance with shutdown Scheduling an equipment shutdown enables Schneider Electric experts to conduct in-depth diagnostics that are otherwise impossible.

This diagnostic testing improves the long-term continuity of your installation and helps you anticipate future faults.

ProDiag (low and medium voltage)ProDiag is a powerful tool that measures the contact resistance of a circuit breaker. Using the data collected Schneider Electric field service engineers can recommend appropriate action to maintain continuity of service.

ProFusion (medium voltage)This tool enables the accurate measurement of resistance in medium voltage fuses. The analysis of this data may allow conclusions to be drawn regarding future failure of fuses and appropriate action can then be taken to maintain continuity of service.

ProSelect (low voltage)With ProSelect, our experts analyse the protection relay settings of an LV circuit breaker. They inspect the equipment to see if its settings have changed since commissioning and check for upstream-downstream discrimination between circuit breakers using current injection. This allows for the detection of functional failure of protection relays and appropriate action can then be taken to maintain continuity of service.

OEM maintenance without shutdown Schneider Electric experts can perform some OEM maintenance tasks without shutdown, allowing you to maintain maximum continuity of service.

These diagnostic tests can greatly reduce or eliminate shutdown time, while offering valuable analysis of equipment performance as a basis for asset optimisation.

ProCorona (medium voltage)Our field service technicians use ProCorona to investigate MV equipment such as switchgear, RMUs, and transformers for evidence of partial surface or internal discharges. This can mean the difference between a long equipment lifetime and premature failure.

IR Thermography (low voltage)With IR Thermography, we find and document “hot spots” on LV busbars and connections. This important diagnostic tool helps prevent downtime and identifies safety issues.

Critical phenomenaOEM maintenance helps identify technical issues before they cause serious damage. These issues can result from:

Specialist switching authorisation and capability

Highly specialised, this level of service is available for all those customers who want the complete peace of mind that goes with a clearly defined switching hierarchy.

By undertaking the highest level of switching control at a specific site, our customers can relax, knowing that their installation is truly in the hands of experts.

Optional Services

Our range of services can be further enhanced to meet specific site and/or budget requirements.

Spare partsOften the most critical aspect of a services intervention, our spare parts function can support you by defining a range of spares critical to your installations, organising the storage of these spares to suit your requirements and offering preferential rates and access to critical spares

Criticality auditsPerforming an electrical healthcheck will help you to identify which elements of your installation are most at risk of failure due to the demands placed on them and thus help you prioritise your precious maintenance spend.

Factory warranty upgradeTo enable you to get the most of your newly installed kit, we can offer factory warranty upgrades, which give you a reactivity commitment in addition to the legal warranty. Valid during the initial legal warranty period, a factory upgrade is your opportunity to take advantage of any product updates at preferred labour and parts rates.

On site warranty extensionSubject to survey, our on site warranty extensions can extend the standard legal warranty coverage and include the labour costs of normal corrective maintenance, with required parts being charged at preferred rates.

Customer trainingOur specialist training teams can help you optimise the competencies of your on-site teams through a variety of methods:

> e-learning sessions through Schneider Electric Energy University

> hands-on training on full size equipment in our Safety Centre or at your site
