Structure

Summer Plan 1) Cooperation with SPE CU:

1. 10 reserved places in their free courses for SPE BUE members.

2. We will allow them to visit our university labs.

2) Cooperation with SPE Suez:

1. Organize Common Field trips, Common Outings

2. Employment Fair: the fair will only be for petroleum companies where SPE Suez will

help us with the companies and we will host the event at BUE

3. Paper Contest Workshop: It will be a workshop for Egyptians applying for the Paper

Contest where they could ask doctors about their papers and take notes

4. International Conference: Students from all world countries will be invited to attend

an international conference about the latest petroleum technologies in the whole

world, the conference will be for 3 days and it will be either in BUE or Four Seasons

hotel.

5. PR Sessions and Workshop : These sessions will be offered by SPE Suez

3) Meeting different Petroleum Companies’ HR team to review the criteria on which they

choose their employees in order to prepare BUE students for it and to ask for offering

us field trips and trainings.

4) Meeting the YP members in order to organize for the YP monthly Sessions and the

International Conference.

5) Our first Outing to Aqua Park where we could enjoy our time, meet each other, create

common areas and increase our team spirit.

6) Our Second Outing: Eftar SPE at El Azhar Park.

7) Our first Social Service Event, A visit to 57357 where we could donate with blood,

money and create a smile on the children’s faces.

8) Create Partnership with SPE FUE where we could allow them to organize different

events together and use some of their abilities for our sake.

9) Getting the agreement about our Project SPE tutoring where we could offer each SPE

tutor a certificate from SPE Egypt and BUE as a TA assistant.

10) Improving our website:

1) Uploading a new database of the Previous Graduation Projects in order to allow

everybody to check it.

2) Creating a specific area for UP-TO-DATE SPE opportunities where everybody could

check our travelling opportunities and apply for it.

3) Uploading numerous videos talking about different petroleum fields where you

could check further information about the university topics.

4) Creating a specific area for Academic problems in the Petroleum Department

5) Launching the E-monitoring System in the Petroleum Department at BUE: This

system offers the students with engineers who are already working in Petroleum

Companies in order to help them with their researches and papers.

11) Preparing the Third Floor in building A to a new venue for all Petroleum Students as it

will be filled with:

1) Graphs and Charts about the Latest Petroleum Topics

2) Definition about different topics that would attract Y1 and Y2 students

3) SPE Magazine and Wall Board where Petroleum Engineers could share different

topics, ideas and information.

4) Preparing the Balcony behind Dr. Amer El Korashy to be a meeting room for SPE and

a study area for all Petrol Students

13) Preparing a FUN Day for All Petroleum Students in W4 and Prepare all the agreements

with the University

14) Preparing a Welcome Packet for Petroleum Y1 Engineers: The Packet will eb

distributed form SPE new venue, this will make the place more popular and it will

allow us to make international SPE memberships for Y1 easily.

15) Preparing an Orphans Day and Children Program together with Resala or Life Makers:

the Children Program will be aiming at improving the skills of High School Students

and giving them sessions about Presentation, Research and Debating Skills.

16) Creating a video series talking about SPE as an organization, its history, activities,

stricture and SPE BUE student Chapter.

17) SPE BUE camp for SPE BUEians : It will be a 3 day camp where we could take soft skills

sessions like communication skills, negotiation skills, presentation skills, debating

skills and HR sessions and in the same time increase our team spirit, enjoy our time

and share common ideas and information.

18) Preparation of SPE Market

19) Make deals with many student activities from different Egyptian Universities for our

event “SPE without borders”: The event is aiming at creating the communication

channels between the Student Activities.
