A WHOLE RANGE OF LACQUERED GLASS FOR INTERIOR DESIGN

Description

PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT is a lacquered glass whose glossy appearance is produced by depositing and then baking a highly durable and resistant lacquer to one side of the glass.

Colour palette

PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT is produced in 18 colors. Latest color trends refer to the nature and bring warm earth tones. All offered colors combine perfectly with different materials used in interior designs, both raw, plastic and natural materials. The colours presented in this brochure do not reflect the actual colour depth. Please contact the Marketing Department for samples of PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT .Saint Gobain Glass Polska can guarantee identical shades in each product batch. PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT is the only lacquered glass in Europe which is compliant with the technical specification ofSaint-Gobain Glass, which determines the proper thickness and hardness of lacquer and repeatability of colours. PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT has been certified by the Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials in Warsaw, Department of Glass in Cracow.

Processing

PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT may be cut, edgeworked and drilled similarly to mirror glass. There is a possibility of sandblasting, engraving or cold-screen printing. The obtained effect depends on whetherthe decoration is carried out on thelacquered or non-lacquered side.

Installation and maintenance • Installation

PANILAQUE COLOR-IT should be installed according to the regulations and construction rules in force: • mechanically in channels or usingfastening clips. PANILAQUE COLOR-ITshouldnot be installed behind or in front of intensesources of heat. Regardless of theselected type of fastening, the followingrules should be observed:

• Place against an opaque surface withthe lacquered side facing the wall• Install on flat, clean and dry surfacefree from any elements which maydamage the lacquer• Light colours should be used against auniform and light-coloured surface • Do not expose the glass to temperaturesexceeding 50ºC (e.g. oven, stove, hot utensils). This may result in the pane cracking or in a slight change of colour over time.

•Maintenance Remove dirt using a clean soft cloth andstandard glass washing agents (neutralwith no abrasive ingredients).

Fire resistance

PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT meetsthe requirements of Class B-s1-d0 (formerly M1) according to the PLEN 13501-1 standard.

Safety

PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT is a multifunctional product: It poses no threat to the health: insignificant *VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) and formaldehyde emissions which provides clean and non-polluted atmosphere in the room.It is environment-friendly: it containsno heavy metals (lead) and toxicchemical components**.

according to the new regulations concerning

environmental friendliness.

** Does not contain any hazardous substances

according to REACH.

SGG PLANILAQUE STADIP provides the quality of PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT and functionality of laminated safety glass. In case of breaking, the glass pieces remain stuck to the PVB film according to the EN12600 standard. SGG PLANILAQUE STADIP 66.2 is ranked as class 2B2.

Environmental protection

PLANILAQUE COLOR-IT contributes to maintaining a healthy,non-polluted environment. It meetsthe strictest standards* within thescope of emissions of formaldehydeand other volatile organic compounds(VOC). (*) according to the ISO 16000 standard.
