courses. There is an extensive

range of courses taught in English.

You must be nominated by your home institution to apply.

First and final-year, final-semester students are not normally

eligible.

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 (4.33 scale) or equivalent.

A copy of your Academic Transcript is required to prove the

fulfilment of GPA requirement. If an overall grade is not given on

a transcript, you should provide a letter from your home

institution’s international office certifying your academic standing.

English language requirements:

TOEFL: minimum of 550 (paper) / 213 (computer) / 80 (internet) or above;

OR

IELTS: minimum of 6 or above;

OR

Letter from your home institution’s international office

certifying your English language proficiency.

2.3 IO will proceed your application and the

admission offer will be sent to your

personal email account in due course.

2. Application process

Complete the online application form and visa application form.

Upload a scanned copy (.pdf format) of your completed visa form

and supporting documents via the online application system.

An acknowledge email from the online application system will be

sent to your personal email account from which your submission

will be retrieved.

After checking your submission, IO will contact you shortly. If there

is any missing information or correction on the visa application

form is needed, IO will inform you via email as well.

Upon receiving the confirmation from IO, please send the original

copy of your Nomination and Endorsement Form from your home

institution, original copy of your completed study visa application

and all supporting documents to IO by registered mail/international

courier before the application deadline.

2.2Remarks: It is mandatory to apply for your

student visa through EdUHK IO.

Normal visa processing time = 4-6 weeks.
