Share with your table PLC one insight you gleaned from this quick activity or how you could use this with your staff.
Guiding Questions for PLC Discussion
How does Big Idea 1, focusing on learning impact your position?
Discuss one change that will need to occur or be reinforced in your school to embrace a highly collaborative culture.
Give two examples of results that a PLC could focus on at your building and why?
Does student performance in your school correlate to achievement on district and state assessments? How do you monitor this relationship?
Give a positive example of a teaching team responding to the needs of students who are not achieving at expected levels. Should response be consistent across your school and why?
