As we meet the CDC cr iteria for reopen ing America.

Restaurant operation should be limited to take out or delivery and not dine in.
The timing of such services al lowed remains critical
If this is permitted, these faci lities should be monitored to ensure they are in compliance .

I realize we need to get restaurants open again, but I have serious concerns about how they can do what they do safely at this point. Regardless of PPE's and social distancing I won 't be eating out for awhi le and I'm just saying people need to make a very informed decsion before they eat out for the foreseeable future .
As we meet the CDC criteria for reopening America.
But this shou ld be done slowly and cautiously. It will require some code compliance involvement.

Salons and barber shops requ ire in person contact, therefore services cannot be provided and sti ll establish social distancing .
Once again, timing is a concern . A target date of June 1, assuming there is not an explosion of new cases in the interim .
This shou ld be monitored to ensure compliance .
by appointment only
I understand peoples appearence is important and I need a haircut as much as the next guy, but are these rea lly so essential that people need to risk exposure having their hair colored or the their nails done or their beard trimmed?
As we meet the CDC criteria for reopeni ng America.
With appropriate safety measures in place
There is no way that social distancing can be achieved . There is too much physical contact.
50% and by appointment
II only tor retai l, no , because re tail is not a big part of those businesses. The opening w/ou t personal services wil l result in customers thinking the salon/services part is open too .
Should consider 50 percent. Masks and gloves are required. Capes used during hair cuttin g may not be reused unless laundered . Disposable capes are encouraged.
My concern ii they are allowed to operate as retai l store , they would be inclined to operate the other portion of their business as well and be able to conduct business as usual.
Perhaps consider curbside pick up of goods.
Yes, but not immediately.

If visitors to museums are overwhelmingly children, the social distancing guidelines may not be adhered to as strictly. Maybe this shou ld be considered at a later date.

Keep yacht club and country club pools closed until phase 2.
Weston chose to continue to keep al l pools closed, even with the acknowledgment that you allowed a provision to remove pool furniture. I still have concerns about controlling the social distancing (most community pools don 't have staff) and keeping things such as restrooms, handrai ls, pool decks, etc sanitized .

leave up to association with restrictions described
Social distancing and san itation are very difficult in a non-commercial environment like a clubhouse gym, pool , etc ...
As we meet the CDC criteria for reopening America.
This activity often requ ires close contact with sweating and water use involved .
Small gyms under 3000 sq ft shou ld also be permitted to reopen
There must be an employee who is responsible for equipment sanitizing between uses.
I have simi lar concerns about housing developments that cannot staff these faci lities.
On ly if the association has the abi lity and resources to enforce and sanitize during al l hours of operation .

Timing. As other states and areas re lax their conditions, we need to closely monitor. If there is 5/7/2020 12:04 PM not an explosion between now and Memorial Day, I would target June 1. I believe the next 2 weeks wi ll be very telling.
opening the beach for walking and running only. Are there any considerations for that? 5/7/2020 1123 AM

The questions asked are difficult to answer and must be qualified with relevant data. It is not as 5/6/2020 12:39 PM simple as a yes or no. If cases of COVID-19 are on a steady decline then we can phase the reopen . However, if they are increasing , than protective measures should remain in place.
I'm still not sure why buying a new car is "essential". Construction crews are not always 5/6/2020 10:15 AM correctly social distancing .
Please provide sufficient notice prior to implementation of new guidelines. 5/6/2020 9:58 AM

Condominium community rooms open as long as social distancing and sanitation is observed . 5/5/2020 4:20 PM No more than 25% capacity.
We sti ll need to be able to do virtual meetings. 5/5/2020 3:43 PM
All smal l retail businesses under 2,500 sq. ft . should be al lowed to reopen with appropriate 5/5/2020 8:48 AM social distancing, san itation and limited number of customers permitted. Face masks required .
As Broward County infection rate is sti ll increasing , I wou ld caution the County on reopen ing to 5/4/2020 7:17 PM soon which cou ld increase the infection rate even greater. I would like to see the County reopen on a much slower scale.
If the science and data dictates the required trends then we should open at the appropriate 5/4/2020 2:56 PM level.
I don 't believe this wi ll be contemplated until Phase 2 ... but we do need to be talking about 5/4/2020 2:40 PM summer camps sooner rather than later. I also want to go on record as stating that I do not support the Mayor of Ft Lauderdale 's request to the Governor to lift restrictions prior to DOH guidance that ind icates that our reg ion is ready to do so.
Sunrise has already pre liminarily met with a cross-section of large and small businesses and 5/4/2020 2:29 PM will be providing recommendations by the end of next week. However, the businesses are not supportive of immediate action as requested by Mayor Trantalis.
