WHILE YOU ARE WATCHING THE VIDEOS…THINK ABOUT THESE QUESTIONS…. How does this disease impact this

person physically? Emotionally? Mentally?

How does this disease impact this person’s family?

If you had this disease, how would it impact you and your life?

How does this nervous system disease prevent the body from maintaining homeostasis?

NERVOUS SYSTEM DEMONSTRATION Take a look at this nerve cell….

It looks very different From “normal” cells

Why do you think these cells are long and skinny? What is the main job of the nerve cells? How would this long thin shape help it do its

job?
