We light our own candlesAs we light our candles, we remember all those who suffered as a result of the Holocaust.

When we pass on the light of our candle, we are passing on the memories of Holocaust victims.

We keep our candles alight, as we keep their memories alive.

PrayerAs we mark Holocaust Memorial Day, we remember before God the thousands of victims who perished under the years of Nazi atrocities. We pray for the survivors and their relatives. We pray for the eradication of the evil and prejudice inflicted upon men, women and children because of their race, religion, abilities, or their sexual orientation. We pray for a better world. We pray for peace.

Amen.
