2016 ~ Called to Be Merciful” ~ St. Anne parishioners have donated

$66,041.00 (115 gifts) toward our goal of $76.000.00.We are almost

there...thank you very much to everyone who has generosity donated.

PARISHPAY: PLEASE CONSIDER ELECTRONIC GIVING: Are you away during the summer? Or maybe it’s tough to remember your envelope when you attend mass each weekend. St. Anne Parish partners with Parishpay for easy on-line giving. Parishpay allows both one-time gifts, as well as regular, scheduled donations. Please visit our Parish website www.stannesouthborough.org for the link to Parishpay or contact Parishpay at 1-856-727-4741 to have a Customer Service Representative assist you with enrollment. AN ADDITIONAL RESOURCE FOR ON-LINE GIVING: With our new website we have an additional resource for online giving, online CE registration and any future special event. St. Anne Parish partners with eCatholic and BluePay for easy on-line giving. Our one-step on-line form allows both one-time gifts, as well as regular, scheduled donations. Please visit our Parish website www.stannesouthborough.org and select the Quick Link to the On-Line Giving page/CE Registration. THE CHURCH OF SAINT ANNE DEVELOPMENT FUND: The Development Fund will be used for future projects for the buildings and grounds of the Church. Donations may be made in honor of a loved one, deceased or living at any time.

The St. Anne Parish Discount Card Fundraiser Thank you to everyone who has purchased a card or cards to sell. We still encourage people to be mindful of this fundraiser as it relates to the several important projects that need to be done around the church. The cards are still available during the week at the Parish Office (Rectory) during office hours. If you would like to purchase a card after one of the Masses on the weekend during next couple of weeks ask Fr. Albert or Deacon Paul and they will have one available for you. Cards are available in the foyers of the church for parishioners to purchase. Self service/honor system. PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY: Meets on Mondays at

10am in the Parish Center Conference room. All are welcome to join the group at any time. Beautiful shawls are completed and available for parishioners to take at the Parish Office during office hours. The

Prayer Shawl Ministry provides knit or If you know someone who would benefit from receiving a shawl, please call the Parish Office. Annette Buhsmer ~ Chair UNITED PARISHES SOUTHBOROUGH: Thank you again for your generosity to the Southborough Food Pantry. Your continued support makes it possible for us to help our clients. Currently we are in need of dish detergent, snacks, mayonnaise, paper towels and toothpaste. As most food items are date sensitive, please be sure that your donation is not out of date. Donations may be left in the foyer of the parish hall. If you know of anyone who could benefit from the Food Pantry, please encourage them to come. Pantry hours (located at Pilgrim Church) are Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. and Fridays from 10-11 a.m. Pat Draper ~ Coordinator

During the summer months please don’t forget St. Anne Parish when you are away. Especially during these

summer months the church still needs your contributions coming in to pay our bills

GOLF TOURNAMENT 2017: The golf tournament will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 for a 10:00am “modified shotgun” at the Highfields Golf and Country Club in Grafton. Several parishioners have stepped forward to help plan the Golf Tournament

Fundraiser. We are still looking for additional volunteers. The following “Focus Area” seats still need to be filled: Publicity, Registration, Sponsorships, Auction/Raffle, Volunteer Coordinator. Planning will continue in September. Should you have interest in supporting this effort through volunteering your talents and skills, please contact the Rectory 508-485-0141.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION & YOUTH MINISTRY

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD: Children’s Liturgy will resume Sunday, September 4th at the 8:30 am Mass. Have a blessed summer. If you are interested in participating in the program you may contact Joanne Flathers at [email protected]

Online registration for Fall Classes has begun: The schedule of classes and the online registration form can be found under the Religious Education link on the St. Anne’s website at http://stannesouthborough.org/. Once on the website follow these steps: 1) click on Children’s Faith Formation. 2) click on Religious Education. 3) click on Religious Education Registration to fill out the registration form. If your child will be receiving a Sacrament this year please understand another fee and additional forms are required and will be available to access in late September at the Parent Meetings. We are still in need of teachers (catechists) at all grade levels. Please continue to discern if God is calling you for this important ministry. The Religious Education Office is closed during July and August. If you have an urgent concern, please call the Parish Office directly at 508-485-0141.
