Power Plant Project List by Province

ACEH

Aceh has abundant energy sources: 589 MW of geothermal, 1,482 MW of hydro, and 1.7 billion tons of coal reserves. In 2015, Pertamina plans to build LNG FSRU in Arun and gas pipeline from Arun to Medan. The gas distributed through this pipeline will be used to power gas power plants in Aceh and Medan.

In order to fulfill electricity demand until 2024, Aceh will need 1,952 MW of additional capacity.
