APR 25 This morning, set out on a panoramic drive showcasing the significant sights of Barcelona. Pass by the Olympic Stadium and Saint Jordi Palace, two of the main venues in the 1992 Olympic Games. Travel down the Passeig de Gràcia to view some of Spain’s most famous architectural creations: Gaudí’s whimsical Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, and his masterpiece, the still incomplete Sagrada Família (exterior visit). View the inspiring Barcelona Cathedral on a brief walking tour through the Gothic Quarter, the oldest part of the city. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

APR 26 After breakfast, embark on a half-day tour that takes in two UNESCO World Heritage Sites by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, one of Barcelona’s most renowned Catalan architects. Begin with a visit to Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. Located at the northern edge of the Eixample, Barcelona’s most famous neighborhood, this former hospital (built between 1902 and 1930) is known as the world’s largest art nouveau site.
