PAPUA NEW GUINEA’S ONLY MAP AND HANDY MINING/PETROLEUM GUIDE FOR CORPORATE AND INTREPID VISITORS

The guide contains important visitor information including useful telephone numbers, mining locations (marked strategically on a detailed PNG map), maps of Port Moresby, Lae, Goroka and Kokopo, relevant telephone numbers, as well as a limited number of advertising spaces. The guide is on display in the Customs Hall at the International Airport as well as within the main International Airport area. The map is also being used by the Mineral Resources Authority, which uses it as follows:

• As a handy reference tool to provide to delegates at international mining shows worldwide

• To provide to any mining/petroleum companies that are making enquiries about updating or acquiring a commercial licence in PNG

• To provide to any mining/petroleum executives who require further “industry” information about PNG.

The guide is, therefore, freely available to every visitor to the country. The map measures 210mm high and 100mm wide, so that it can be carried as a pocket sized publication. The maps are also delivered directly to:

• Mining companies, which use them as a reference tool for their business partners, colleagues, contractors and employees

• Major hotels

• Car rental companies.

This is an exciting opportunity for companies that market to the oil, gas or mining industries as well as those simply wishing to target international visitors.

The PNG Executive Traveller is distributed to 102 selected venues throughout Papua New Guinea, Australia and selected places internationally.

Throughout the year, 80,000 maps are published and strategically placed on display stands immediately on exit from the Customs Area at the airport.

SPECIFICATIONS & DEADLINES:All finished artwork:

a) must be professionally designed;

b) comply with any guidelines;

c) be supplied to John Batman Group specifications as stated on the advertising contract;

d) supplied by the required submission date as determined by John Batman Group and notified to you.

FILE FORMATS:Supply file documents in any of the following formats, or formats compatible with:

a) Illustrator CS (or earlier), saved as PDF or EPS file with all text converted to outlines (if not sending fonts)

b) Photoshop CS (or earlier) – saved in CMYK as PSD, TIF, EPS or PDF

Please supply all relevant fonts and document laser proof

c) Photographs - PDF or JPG

d) Vector graphics - .AI or .EPS

To guarantee accurate, highest quality output with correct fonts and image resolution, we strongly suggest supplying a print ready PDF file which requires no further handling prior to print (bleed or crops are only necessary if requested by John Batman Group). Files will be output in Adobe InDesign as final Computer To Plate (CTP).
