Use case: Existing problems Tools

• Lots of different tools for different protocols Graphical SRB client (inQ) only for windows Web tools SRB interface clumsy Command line tools (S-commands) not user

friendly for end user (Medical Scientists). No integration with other (Grid) file systems like Grid-FTP or Secure FTP

• Need extensible File management tool default SRB/Grid tools are not 'extensible‘

• Need embedded content viewer also Plugins/Mimetype viewers for application data
