It was completed in 2009. Producing 234 MW of electricity and 214 MW of district heat, the new gas turbine combined cycle power plant uses natural gas as fuel, reducing the use of coal and oil in the existing power plant. Client Fortum Power & Heat Oy, Finland Project Suomenoja 2 Power Plant 234 MW e / 214 MW th (DH). The combined cycle power plant consists of a gas turbine, heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), district heating back-pressure steam turbine with auxiliary systems and power plant buildings.
