1. Rules and Regulations

POKER LOTTO is governed by the Rules and Regulations Respecting Lotteries and Gaming of Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) WHICH INCLUDE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND ARE AVAILABLE FROM WCLC UPON REQUEST.

2. Game Participation and Definitions

2.1 In POKER LOTTO:(a) “standard deck of playing cards” means fifty-two cards in total, consisting of four suits, with each suit having

thirteen (13) rank cards (2 through 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace);(b) “suits” means (clubs or ‘C’), (diamonds or ‘D’), (hearts or ‘H’), and (spades or ‘S’);(c) “rank” means the individual value of a card which is one of the following thirteen (13) ranks, which are valued

from low to high as follows: 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; Jack; Queen; King; and Ace, except that an Ace can be either the highest or the lowest rank card;

(d) “selection” or “Hand” means five cards from a standard deck of playing cards;(e) “ALL IN” means an optional instant add-on feature;(f) “growing jackpot” means a prize pool for certain ALL IN prizes, as described in section 3.1; (g) the “cards” or “numbers” are as follows:

2.2 A player may participate by Quick Pick only.

2.3 POKER LOTTO consists of an instant play component and a draw component. Players may also add the optional instant feature, ALL IN.

2.4 A player may request from one to three Hand(s) per ticket at a cost of $2 per Hand. A player may also add ALL IN at an additional cost of $1 per Hand. The number of ALL IN plays must match the number of Hands on a ticket.

2.5 For each ticket and Hand requested and paid for, the computer system shall:(a) choose for the player five cards from a standard deck of playing cards;(b) display on the customer display screen of the retailer’s terminal (when available):

(i) each of the cards chosen for the Hand(s);(ii) the estimated growing jackpot amount;

(c) issue a ticket that will display:(i) each Hand chosen;(ii) the applicable draw date for which the ticket is eligible;(iii) the ALL IN logo, when ALL IN is added;(iv) a message that will indicate whether the ticket is a winner on the instant play component of the game

and ALL IN (if applicable);(v) the dollar amount wagered, which amount varies depending on the number of Hands requested, and

whether ALL IN is played; and(vi) other information pertinent to the game.

2.6 The computer system will not issue the same Hand more than once on a ticket.

2.7 The amount of the growing jackpot advertised is estimated and for information purposes only, and may not be the same as the actual amount of the growing jackpot. In the event of a difference between the advertised amount of the growing jackpot and the amount of the growing jackpot in the computer system, the information in the computer system will govern.

3. Play and Prizes

3.1 Instant Play Component and ALL IN

Any valid ticket bearing a Hand that matches an Instant Winning Poker Hand as set out in the Instant Play Prize Table below is a winning ticket and entitles its holder(s) to claim for such Hand the corresponding POKER LOTTO Instant Prize set out in the Instant Play Prize Table below. Any valid ticket on which ALL IN is played bearing a Hand that matches a Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four (4) of a Kind, Full House or Flush Instant Winning Poker Hand as set out in the Instant Play Prize Table below is a winning ticket and entitles its holder(s) to claim for such Hand the corresponding ALL IN Prize set out in the Instant Play Prize Table below. (1) Only one POKER LOTTO Instant Prize may be claimed per Hand.

(2) Only one ALL IN Prize may be claimed per Hand.

(3) The minimum growing jackpot amount is $10,000; the growing jackpot amount increases by a percentage of each ALL IN play purchase and is reduced when either a Royal Flush or Straight Flush ALL IN Prize is won.

(4) When a Royal Flush ALL IN Prize is won, the growing jackpot amount will return to the minimum amount of $10,000.

(5) When a Straight Flush ALL IN Prize is won, the growing jackpot amount will be reduced by 10%. In the event such 10% reduction results in the growing jackpot amount being less than $10,000, then the growing jackpot amount will return to the minimum amount of $10,000.

(6) For every $1.00 ALL IN play purchased, 23.6% of $1.00 is allocated to the growing jackpot amount.

(7) Where a Royal Flush or Straight Flush ALL IN Prize is won, the amount includes the player’s ALL IN purchase contribution on a per Hand basis. Growing jackpot amounts are calculated on a per Hand basis. For POKER LOTTO tickets with multiple ALL IN plays, each Hand’s potential ALL IN growing jackpot amount is calculated separately and in the order of the Hand displayed on the ticket.

3.2 Draw Component

(a) Unless otherwise announced by WCLC, on every day from Monday to Sunday, inclusive, WCLC shall cause five (5) cards to be drawn at random from a standard deck of playing cards. The five (5) cards drawn are referred to as the “drawn cards” for the draw component of the game.

(b) Winning Selections as a result of any draw are determined as follows:

(c) Any valid ticket for any draw bearing any Winning Selection of such draw is a winning ticket and entitles its holder(s) to claim, for each such Winning Selection, a prize calculated in accordance with the following:

(1) For each draw, if there are four or more 5/5 Winning Selections, the single cash payment prizes of $100,000 will not be available, and each prize in that prize category will be paid as a single cash payment determined by dividing $300,000 by the number of 5/5 Winning Selections for that draw, provided that cents are rounded to the nearest 10 cents.

4. Cancellation of Ticket

4.1 A ticket cannot be cancelled by a retailer. 5. Prize Claims

5.1 Prizes must be claimed within one year following the draw printed on the ticket in the manner stated on the back of the ticket.

5.2 A winning ticket for a POKER LOTTO Instant Prize and if applicable an ALL IN Prize may be redeemed before the draw corresponding to that ticket. When a winning ticket for a POKER LOTTO Instant Prize and if applicable an ALL IN Prize is redeemed before the corresponding draw, the POKER LOTTO Instant Prize and if applicable the ALL IN Prize will be paid and a replacement ticket bearing the same Hand(s) as the original ticket will be issued for the corresponding draw component and upon such replacement ticket being issued, the original ticket will become void. For further certainty, the replacement ticket is only eligible to win a prize in the corresponding draw component.
