● To access your Boxes in PokémonBank, the Nintendo Network ID onyour system is used. Please notethat a system with a differentNintendo Network ID will connectto a different Pokémon Bank.

● The pass for this software expires365 days from the purchase ofthe pass. You'll need to purchaseanother pass to keep using thissoftware (p. 6). You can't deposit

● Pokémon Bank allows you todeposit Pokémon from multiplePokémon™ X, Pokémon Y,Pokémon Omega Ruby, andPokémon Alpha Sapphire games.If you have both a downloadversion and a retail version ofPokémon X, Pokémon Y, PokémonOmega Ruby, or Pokémon AlphaSapphire in a Nintendo 3DSsystem, the data of the retailversion will be prioritized. Todeposit Pokémon from thedownload version, first removeyour Game Card from theNintendo 3DS system. If you havea download version of one gameand a retail version of another, orif you have download versions ofmultiple games, you will be giventhe option to choose which one touse.

5 Pokémon Bank

♦ In Pokémon Bank, you will have100 Boxes. Each Box can holdup to 30 Pokémon, meaning youcan store a maximum of 3,000Pokémon.

Pokémon Bank is an applicationthat allows you to depositPokémon you have obtained inyour Pokémon X, Pokémon Y,Pokémon Omega Ruby, andPokémon Alpha Sapphire gamesinto private Boxes on the Internet,or to withdraw Pokémon andtransfer them to your Pokémon X,Pokémon Y, Pokémon OmegaRuby, or Pokémon Alpha Sapphiregame. Before you start thisapplication, please make sure yourPokémon X, Pokémon Y, PokémonOmega Ruby, or Pokémon AlphaSapphire game is downloaded orinserted into your Nintendo 3DSsystem.

6 Purchasing Passes

How to Purchase a Pass

Duration of Passes

Passes are activated immediatelyafter purchase. If you purchaseanother pass before a current passexpires, the number of days left onyour current pass will be added tothe new pass.

• Nintendo eShop shows a list ofthe available content and pricesof passes.

• To purchase a pass, you mustfirst add funds to your NintendoeShop account.

• Once the pass expires, it will notbe renewed automatically, even ifyou have enough funds in youraccount to do so. To continueservice, simply purchase anotherpass as necessary.

This application allows you topurchase a pass for a fee via theInternet. Purchasing a pass enablesyou to use Pokémon Bank.

When there arfewer than 1days remaininon your currenpass, you wilreceive a reminder that it is time topurchase a new pass. Here are thesteps to purchasing a pass:

Notes about Passes

• You can view your purchasehistory in Account Activity inNintendo eShop. The purchasehistory includes the date ofpurchase (date of first use) ofyour pass.

• After purchase, your pass cannotbe returned, refunded,exchanged, or transferred.

• It is not possible to purchase apass for more than 365 days.

• This pass can only be used withPokémon Bank and PokéTransporter.

• This pass can only be used forthe Pokémon Bank you are usingat the time of purchase. If theNintendo Network ID is different,you will not be able to use the

Q: Can I transfer Pokémon withBerries or other items toPokémon Bank?

A: No, you can't deposit Pokémonthat are holding Berries or otheritems. Please make sure toreturn any held items to yourBag before depositing yourPokémon. If you try to depositPokémon that are holdingBerries or other items, the itemswill be removed and sent toyour Bag. If your Bag is full, theitems will disappear.

A: Before you can use PokémonBank, you will need to reach thepoint in your Pokémon X,Pokémon Y, Pokémon OmegaRuby, or Pokémon AlphaSapphire game where youreceive your Pokédex.

Q: Can I use Pokémon Bank assoon as it finishesdownloading?

A: You can withdraw yourdeposited Pokémon, but youcan't deposit new Pokémon.
