There size
• They are ten feet. At birth a polar bear cub is about 1 pound. Male polar bears are < 1,500 pounds.
Ice/Water
• Polar bears swim like dogs. If the world gets too hot the polar bears habitat will melt. Air and water pollution caused by humans is affecting the polar bears habitat. Polar bears in the summer go away from the water so they don’t fall in the water when the ice melts. They spend a lot of time in the water.
Fun facts
• They live in the north part of the world. • They don’t hibernate.• They are not white on the inside. Their skin is
black under their fur.• Polar bears are the biggest bears in the world.• They have 2 or 1 cubs at a time.
