Overview

Project objectives

• increase in competence of innovativeness and entrepreneurship among students (mostly in junior secondary schools and high schools)

• connecting students' actions with creative industry/sector promoting talents, cognitive curiosity and creativity

• practical transfer from idea to its realisation

Project description

• Preparing a local project connected with

a creative branch, including fashion shows,

theatre/cinema festivals, benefit concerts,

concerts.

Schedule

• September – November 2013 – creating a list of schools from Poland taking part in the CENTRES project

• September 2013 – workshops for teachers/educators who look after pupils' groups

• September 2013 – end of April 2014 – implementation of pupils' projects in the local communities

• April -May 2014 – summary and the evaluation of the projects • May 2014 – information sent to schools about the pilot activity

evaluation outcomes • May 2014 – pilot activity project summary at the CENTRES

conference in Brussels • June 2014 – project wrap-up in Poland, meeting with chosen

pupil groups

Impact

• In September 2013 - 4 training meetings were held. They were for teachers (Kraków, Poznań, Radom, Warszawa)

• January – March 2014 – further workshops for teachers are going to be held

Quality

Because the project is still running reports of pilot actions will be written in May 2014

Insight

• undoubtedly it is an interesting experience for participants which brought relevant issues up

• pupils have gained a lot

• they know characteristics of an entrepreneur

• they know how to organize the undertaking/venture

• they are able to work in group

As the pilots are still running more outcomes will be observed on the

later stage
