sources.Overallthestudiesshow:
TheAmericanpublicsconcernaboutclimatechange,whilestillbelow2007levels,isontherisenationwide. Thistrendholdsacrosspartylines,withgreaternumbersofDemocrats,Independents,andRepublicansviewingthis
asaseriousissuethatwillaffectthemintheirlifetimes.
Additionally,moreareconvincedthatglobalwarmingiscausedbyhumanactivitiesratherthannaturalcauses. Higherpercentagesofminoritiessayclimatechangeishappeningandsupportthepresidenttakingstepstoaddress
theissue.
WhileamajorityofAmericanssupporttheincreaseddeploymentofcleanandrenewableenergyandregulationofpowerplantemissions,supportremainsweakforacarbontaxorcapandtrademeasures.
