black embroidery yarn for the eyelashes 1 pair of safety eyes: grey/blue 14 mm fiberfill a bit acrylic yarn for the hair on the head crochet hooks size 2,5 and 3 needle and scissors brush stitch marker Abbreviations: (US) Sc = single crochet St = stitch Inc = increase Dec = decrease Ss = slip stitch Dc = double crochet Hdc = half double crochet Ch = chain stitch Trc = triple crochet Htrc = half triple crochet Notes: For tighter result use a smaller hook size like 2,5 mm. You can make the neck more firm using a piece of cardboard (roll) or fabric(roll)

Legs and body: Start with the legs Use lollipop and hook size 3 Make a magic ring Rnd 1: start 8 sc in a magic ring (=8) Rnd 2 – 4: 8 sc (=8) Rnd 5: change color to white, sc in next st, inc in next st (=12) Rnd 6: (sc in next st, inc in next st) repeat (=18) Rnd 7: 18 sc (=18) Rnd 8: change color to turquoise, 1sc, (3sc, inc next st)repeat, 1sc (=22) Rnd 9 - 22: 22 sc (=22) Fasten off, stuff the leg firm and crochet a second leg. Don’t fasten off the second leg. Stuff the second leg, we are now going to connect the legs.

Place the head on the body. You can use a piece of fabric (and roll it) to put in the neck, to consolidate.

Arms and sleeves (2x) Sleeve: Use opaline glass and hook size 3 Make a magic ring Rnd 1: start 6 sc in the magic ring (=6) Rnd 2: inc in all 6 st (=12) Rnd 3: (sc, inc in next st) repeat (=18) Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc in next st) repeat (=24) Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 st, inc in next st) repeat (=30) Rnd 6: change to white, 30 sc (=30) Rnd 7: change to pink, 30 sc (=30) Rnd 8: change to white, 30 sc (=30) Fasten off and fold the sleeve (see photo) Arm: Use lollipop and hook size 3 Make a magic ring Rnd 1: start 4 sc in a magic ring (=4) Rnd 2: inc in all 4 st (=8) Rnd 3 - 4: 8 sc (=8) Rnd 5: change to opaline glass, 8 sc (=8) Rnd 6: (sc, inc in next st) repeat (=12) Rnd 7 - 22: 12 sc (=12) Rnd: 23: fold the arm and crochet the 6 opposite stitches together (=6) the arm is closed now and easier to attach like this. Stuff the arm as you go, the underarm firmer than the top. First sew the sleeve, then place the arm between the sleeve (photo) Collar: Use white and hook size 3 Chain 18 *3 dc in 3e ch from hook ss in the nexts ch * ** repeat till the end, fasten off and sew on top of the sweater part (see photo) Ponytail: Cut about 14 pieces of acrylic blue yarn (20 cm). Sew the threads in the middle of the head (or use your hook to attach the threads (photo) Comb the hair with a brush (for example a brush you use for a cat or dog) till it gets fluffy.

Bow: Chain 13, use lollipop and hook size 2,5 *12 hcd on ch stitches, 1 ch and turn* ** repeat 4 times. Fasten off and make a not in the middle to form a bow(photo) Sew the bow on the head in front of the ponytail. Feathers: Use hooksize 2,5 Chain 11 Ss into the 3rd from hook, 1ss in each of next 2 ch’s, 2 dc in next ch, 1 htrc, 1 trc in each of next 3 ch’s, 10 trc in next ch – now work on other side of ch: 1 trc in each of next 3 ch’s, 1 htrc, 1 dc, 1 ss in the next ch, fasten off Make 21 feathers White: 5 Turqoise: 4 Lollipop: 4 Violet: 4 Blossom: 4

Sew the feathers at the back side of the peacock (see photo’s). Layer after layer

Edge on front and back: (see photos below) Front: chain 32 use white and hook size 3 *3 hdc in de 3rd ch from hook ss in next ch* ** repeat, fasten off and sew on the front, edge of the pants. (see photo) Back: chain 24 use white and hook size 3 *3 hdc in de 3rd ch from hook, ss in next ch * ** repeat, fasten off and sew on the back, above the feathers. (see photo)
