Prior to the Conference
• Plan ahead
• Notify participants of time, date and locations
• Distribute agenda and other items
• Learn about the type of equipment you will be using
• Have a backup plan in case of technical problems
Power Point Presentations
• Use 24 Point or higher
• 7 words and 7 lines per page
• No red, yellow or orange text
• Use light letters on a dark background
• Limit to 3 different font styles
• Limit to 4 colours
• No italics, fine lines or borders
On the day of the conference
• Arrive early
• Begin your meeting on time
• Introduce yourself and proceed with a roll call of other sites
• Be mindful of the time allotted
• Establish ground rules
Etiquette
• Allow on-screen site to finish first
• Mute microphones when not speaking
• Make sure that the camera can see you
• Know the equipment
• Avoid excessive movement
• Keep lesson with timeframe
