PERSONNEL Touring Party: 3 pax (2 x Performers; 1 x Production/Technical Manager) Venue to Supply: Technical operator to operate Sound/AV (must be competent in operating the data projector); Bump-in/Out Crew as required PERFORMANCE AREA OPTION 1: pre-existing water locations This work is suitable for man-made ponds and shallow water locations (e.g. fountains, recreational swimming lagoons, protected beach lagoons, river inlets, lakes). Not suitable for tidal areas or extremely windy locations. Please note: water must be shallow water (up to 50cm deep), or additional staging will be required. Venue to Supply (this is a guide and subject to site inspection): Approx 36 milk crates (these will be cable-tied together to create small platforms in the water) 40-50 sand bags (20-25 kg) suitable for placement in water (used to create ramps up to milk crates). cable ties 10-12 large baton-sized glow sticks (to be used as markers for performers) Please refer to the attached diagrams for placement of crates etc. OPTION 2: man-made pond installation A portable pond can be constructed on a flat area, minimum 11m wide x 12m deep. Venue to supply: a suitable flat space, approx 20m x 20m including audience viewing area piping: 16-20 lengths of 3m pipe @ 100mm diameter (Polytoxic can provide, subject to freight costs) 1 x 15m2 roll of black pond liner (thickness determined on duration of the pond installation – 1 week run will require a more heavy duty liner than one-off performance) running water to fill pond (approx 13,000 litres dependent upon level) sandbags / wooden framing to level the area as required supplementary equipment (e.g. sandbags, hoses, etc) + fencing (workplace health and safety) Bump-in / out crew: o Bump-in: 2 crew x 8-12 hours o Bump-out: 2 crew x 4 hours

AUDIO/VISUAL Venue to Supply data projector minimum of 10,000 lumens and an operator familiar with the equipment. Venue to supply a sound system suitable to the size of the performance site and expected audience numbers. Polytoxic to supply MacBook with pre plotted Sound & AV to be run off Quicktime OR a .mov / .mp4 video if venue is supplying video operating system. Data projector detai ls Please ensure you have adequate budget to hire a 10K-15K lumens data projector and lens. Smaller data projectors are NOT acceptable for our performance requirements. For previous performances, we have used the following:

PROJECTOR: Sanyo PLC XF47 15K ANSI Lumen; LENS: Sanyo WO 1.2 - 1.5 (short throw) PROJECTOR: Barco CLM 10K ANSI Lumens; LENS: 2.4-4.3 (long throw)

Projector must be placed close to ground (maximum lens height is 55cm above water level) Distance from the front of the lens to the first ramp/milk crate position is 8 – 24 metres, depending on projector power and lens throw. Please refer to attached diagram for lens and projection specifications.

LIGHTING No lighting is required. A dark space is required for projection, so please ensure there are no floodlights in the performance area during the performance.

VISUAL INSTALLATION COMPONENT The visual installation component of this work consists of numerous origami paper boats set around the performance location - some are floating in the water (anchored with fishing line and weights), and some are set on ground (weighted with sand or similar), some are hanging in trees, each with an LED light. This can be set and struck prior and post each performance, and takes approximately 2 hours to pre-set and 30 minutes to strike.

FREIGHT / BAGGAGE For pre-existing water performances, no additional freight costs will apply. Costume and props are able to be transported within the standard airfare baggage allowances:

• 1 bag: 100cm x 70cm x 40cm (40” x 28” x 16”), weight 16kg (35Lbs) • 1 additional item (2 postpak tubes taped together): 120cm x 20cm x 10cm (47” x 8” x 4”), weight 2kg

(4.5Lbs) For the man-made pond installation, Polytoxic can provide the following (please note it may be cheaper to purchase materials locally than to freight materials to some locations):

• piping: 16-20 lengths of 3m pipe @ 100mm diameter (weight can be provided on request)

COSTUME / PROPS LIST • 2 white dresses (made of polypropylene material & fiberglass rod) • foam pool floatation devices (to keep dresses afloat) • 2 white umbrellas • 4 white fans • 2 white fabric screens with wooden dowel • 1 Macbook Pro for video operation • large pre-folded origami boats (made of waterproof paper) • LED lights for insertion inside origami boats • Corflute origami boats with LED lights for display in trees • Small bags to be used as sandbag anchors for origami boats

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL) A school / community engagement activity may be carried out in weeks prior to the performance. Polytoxic will provide workshop notes and instructions to be sent to teachers / community groups. Venue is to contact relevant community groups to be involved, and to co-ordinate the picking up of pre-made boats for display.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS Dressing Rooms: a dressing room with toilets and mirrors is required. Dressing room should also be large enough for drying out costumes and props post-show, and able to handle some water leakage. Venue to provide a hose (or shower) for washing down props/costumes post-performance.
