You are welcome to stay in the retreat house or one of our cozy

hermitages. Strolling the wooded pathways, meditating in the gazebo,

walking our beautiful labyrinth, meeting with a Spiritual Director,

enjoying a bodywork treatment at the Holistic Center, or simply being

here are all options for your private retreat.

HermitagesDesigned in the tradition of Franciscan simplicity, the hermitages are

quiet places where the routine of everyday life, its hectic pace and

insistent demands, can be put aside for the inner needs of the heart and

soul. All 5 are surrounded by beautiful woods with deer being the most

    frequent visitors.

THE POVERELLO HOLISTIC CENTERGod has wondrously created our entire beingbody, mind and spirit!

Our emotions, experiences and sense of being are written in our physical

structure. When the stresses and demands of life dim the luster of who

we are, skillful touch and sacred bodywork encourage a quality of

awareness and individual growth as a total person.

We invite you to our charming and rustic Poverello Holistic Center, to

come aside and gently attend to the inner needs of body, mind and spirit

through various modalities of bodywork. You will be treated with

compassion, gentleness, and peace at St. Francis Woods.

Do you not know that your body is thetemple of the Holy Spirit.1 Corinthians 6:1915
