4 Port Washington Calendar May 2014

From The Publisher

Thank YouYou are reading the 72nd issue of

the Port Washington Calendar…that’s right, the Calendar was firstintroduced at HarborFest in June of2008.

It all began because a customer atthe Mediterranean Market remarkedto Hal Linden that they were sorry to have missedthe Chamber SouperBowl event…saying they hadnot known about it.

Thus a simple concept, The Port WashingtonCalendar, was begun… the focus then and now is,simple: Provide Port residents, shoppers, diners andvisitors with a comprehensive list of events, meetingsand happenings – BEFORE they Happen…to pro-vide opportunities for attendance and greater successin all the charitable, religious, not-for-profit and civicevents that make up the fabric of Port Washington.

This issue some 6 years later is our largest with 12full pages, 6000 distribution, through some 150retail & professional locations, more than 300 emaildeliveries and posted on www.PWCalendar.com.

So, to all our readers, advertisers, cooperating mer-chants, and the hundreds of professional and acci-dental PR folks who have worked to provide editori-al input, we say THANK YOU … AND SEE ONJUNE 1 AT HARBORFEST!
