Via Irnerio 17 Architecture’s virtual modellation
Create a complete 3D map of Bologna’s PORTICOES for the realization of a dynamic archive in view of the candidacy as a UNESCO’s heritage.
Starting with cadastral documents, photos and measurement I have created a complete 3D model of the building situated in centre of the city; later I have recreated the textures (stuccos, bricks, mosaic floors) and mapped every single element.

FOLD_IT PavilionCity Dream Pavilion Competition (FIGMENT NYC)
FOLD_IT Pavilion is a plan for:1) evolve architectural re-use;2) give a THIRD life to the materials (truck tarpaulin was cover for goods, is pavilion’s shelter, will be design products);3) involve and educate the comunity to the principle of creative re_ use producing.
The competition’s aim is the realization of a pavilion (50 persons capacity and 3 months life) for music and art events in the center of a small island on south of Manhattan. The key words are: buildability, innovative use of materials, consider material’s full lifecycle, low impact.

Once the life of the pavillion ended the dismantle phase starts. We provide the instruction to create the ORIGAMI bags from the truck tarpaulin. Pavillion visitors and customers could buy their own piece of tarpaulin (5$ for 10 ft^2): funds are raised to cover the contruction costs and people learned a creative way to re use materials.

Architectural Composition III
The project’s area is situated in a strategic position, between Piotrokwska (sort of city center) and Manufaktura (once textile factory, now social pole with lot of attractions like restaurants and shops); these elements, with the isolated green area on south and Poznanski Palace (city museum), are the bases of form finding and functional strategy (music hall, exhibition hall, auditori-um): the aim is to model the intervent in order to improve the existing in functions and connections. The inverted monument is connoted by a striking interior, generated by a pattern made of light (an universal element), able to create a spatial perception not linked with the context.
The inverted monument: an enveloping interior.
