The Isanogel Center is located on the west side of Muncie, Indiana. It is a summer residential camp for children and adults with disabilities. The residential camps are week-long sessions that run for nine weeks during the summer. The center can be rented and used as a retreat for people and programs throughout the community.
The site is about 3/4 of an acre. Isanogel wants the area to be used as a nature area for the campers. Universal accessibility is wanted and needed for the site. The site can be viewed from the lodge as well as the dormitories. This piece of land will become an integral piece to the Isanogel campus.

This project involves site designing of a stormwater and wastewater treatment; demonstration project adjacent to the Muncie Sanitary District Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Stormwater Park handles rainwater that falls on the site and all roof runoffs from the buildings.
The concept is to pump water from White River and from all building runoffs. The water then flows out a channel and disperse into the stormwater treatment ponds. Hence, the plants in the ponds purify the stormwater, and lastly, returning all water back to the White River.
The stormwater education park includes a welcome center, meeting rooms, learning site, amphitheater, children’s playground, a raingarden, bioswales, and native plant garden. Thus, educating and demonstrating to the people about stormwater management on the site.

Bird's-eye View
Muncie is currently stretched to its limit to maintain basic services and infrastructure. The city has difficulty attracting new companies, especially those with highly-educated workers, because these businesses prefer cities with high environmental and visual quality, sense of place, amenity value and regional workforce education levels.
This project intends to help inform efforts to accelerate a shift to the new economy in Muncie, seeks to raise excitement about the Muncie Downtown Gateway as a sense of place economic development project. 08
