Planning your wedding or event is a thing of the past. With rising numbersof venues and event planning professionals increasing, there is no reason not tohire somebody to plan your big day. Individuals spend more time setting up for anevent than they actually do enjoying it. People often think that hiring someone toplan your big day will cost more than it is worth. Today, there are planners thathave reasonable prices and payment plans to work with. Many individuals areunaware of the benefits to hiring an event/wedding planner. Planners will puteverything together for the event from setting it up, working the actual event andtearing down.

Dallas is home to a high number of individuals seeking guidance for theirupcoming wedding, corporation or celebration event. This means that there is ahigh demand for professionals in the event planning industry. With the city ofDallas continuing to grow, venues in the Dallas area are always booked andpromoting planners to customers.

The overall goal for Phillips & Co. is to inform people the benefits of hiringan event planner. The company will team up with an organization to host their firstnon-wedding event. Phillips & Co. has posted their expansion on multipleplatforms of social media to announce it and reach a broad audience. The companyhopes to build new clientele with the expansion and team up with more businesses.

SITUATION ANALYSIS

Planning your wedding or event is a thing of the past. With rising numbersof venues and event planning professionals increasing, there is no reason not tohire somebody to plan your big day. Individuals spend more time setting up for anevent than they actually do enjoying it. People often think that hiring someone toplan your big day will cost more than it is worth. Today, there are planners thathave reasonable prices and payment plans to work with. Many individuals areunaware of the benefits to hiring an event/wedding planner. Planners will puteverything together for the event from setting it up, working the actual event andtearing down.

Sadly, this is not the case. There is a lack of knowledge with the public aboutevent planning. While many people research businesses to help them, few peoplelook into event planning professionals. Many people automatically reject eventplanners due to fear of high prices. Wedding and other event planning is overlooked by people. This project purpose is to inform people of the positive factorsof event planners.
