Portfolios: Add Content

1. Click the Portfolios Tab on your home page, then click the name of the Portfolio you’d like to

update.

2. Click Edit. Now you can begin adding text, images, videos, or other content to your new Portfolio.


3. You can add pages to your portfolio from the Navigation Menu.To add or rename sections, click Edit.

5. Enter the title for the new page and click Create.

6. Consider adding your biography or a page for each class that you teach. Many teachers include

pages for their own artwork and extracurricular activities such as after school clubs.

4. Click Add Page.


7. To change the page order, click and drag pages as needed until they are in your desired order.

8. Click on a page to view additional editing options. You can Indent, Delete, Rename,

and Add Page Above or Add Page Below.

9. When you have finished adding pages, click Save.


10. Next, choose one of your pages from the page navigation menu at the top left.

11. Choose a module from the Add Content menu.

• A Text module allows you to add text and images.

• A Gallery module allows you to create a gallery of

images.

• A Video module allows you to embed streaming

video.

• A Presentation module allows you to embed

slideshows or other presentations from SlideShare,

Google Slides, Prezi, and more.

• A Comments module allows viewers to comment

on your portfolio. Comments will not be made

public until they have been approved.

• A Contact module allows viewers to email youwith questions or comments but does not revealyour email address.


13. Once in place, an empty Text Module will automatically open. Add, edit, and format text as you

16. Select an image from your computer and click Open.

14. Add the title of your page and change the formatting to your preference.

15. Click the Upload Image icon to add an image.


19. Click Publish to make your new content viewable by others.

17. The image will now appear in your Text module.

18. The Text module is a great way to share information about your classroom. You can add aslittle or as much text as you wish. When you’ve finished adding information, click Save.


22. Click and Drag the Gallery module underneath your Text module. A yellow rectangle will appear

to show you where your module will be placed. When it’s in the right place, let go of the mouse

button.

20. Your Text module is now complete. You can make changes at any time by clicking the Edit

button. Consider adding a Text module to each page of your portfolio.

21. Select a Gallery module from the Add Content menu.


25. Select the image or images you want to upload and click Open. To upload multiple files,

hold down the Control or Command key on your computer keyboard.

23. The Gallery module will automatically open. Click to choose the thumbnail layout you prefer.

Click Add Media to add images or video to your gallery.

24. Click Browse For Media to upload images from your computer.


27. Click a thumbnail to edit one of your images.

28. You can now Crop, Rotate, or Zoom in on the full image and thumbnail.

26. Click Save to add the uploaded images to your Gallery module.


30. You can also add a Caption to any image.

32. You can now continue to edit and add more images. Click Save to view your Gallery module.

31. Click Save to view your changes.

29. To Crop, adjust the dotted rectangle to select a section of the image.


34. Your Gallery is now complete. Click any thumbnail to view the full image.

33. Click Publish to make all of the content you have added visible to anyone who can see your

portfolio.

36. To remove a module, click the Delete icon.

35. Continue adding modules and content to your portfolio as needed. You can make changes at any

time by clicking the Edit icon at the bottom of each module.
