Hopkins Correctional Centre, Ararat VIC

Hopkins Correctional Centre (HCC), locatedin Ararat Victoria, provides medium-securityaccommodation for prisoners. With a prisonexpansion in progress, the community-styleprison will be one of the first in Victoria to bedesigned in line with the Better Living Model,balancing community protection with prison

rehabilitation and the need to reduce reoffending.Major construction works commenced in2013 and are due for completion late 2014.

Throughout the year long partnership, PortolesiStructural has been an integral part of theproject, providing a solid team and expertknowledge in specialist concrete repair work thatwill enable the project to maintain its critical path.
