The World Economic Forum estimates sixty-five percent of children today will end up in careers that do not exist yet.

Our education system must prepare individuals for the world that is, not the one that was.

It must ensure that those educated embody the qualities and competencies essential to life in a society different than our industrial past.

Later, high school helped ease the transition from the farm to the factoryand the office.

If we consider the possible futures that are emerging, we need a different Future Capability Profile. The profile must be viewed across two different time horizons: the capabilities required to build this emerging future and the capabilities required post-build out.

Across both horizons, these capabilities must be nurtured:

UNLEARNING is the biggest challenge. We must reimagine education and transform through combinatorial innovations that leverage AI, Mobile, Cloud, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Big Data, and more.
