Meet NEC® StandardsThe Posi·Lok™ PowerDistribution System from CooperInterconnect brings a new level ofsafety to electrical powerapplications.

Now there's no need to haularound python-sized, multi­conductor cables. Posi-LokPower Distribution Systems letyou use lighter, single conductorcables rated at higher amperages.

Designed to meet Article 520-53 Section K and Article 530-22 Section A(NEG) standards, Posi-Lok's built-in safety feafures require the user toconnect or disconnect each plug in sequence. Protective covers cannot beraised until the preceding plug is locked into position. The disconnectsequence is reversed.

The same plugs that connect to panels also connect to each other so that youcan use long runs of cable. Polarity is assured because each plug is uniquelykeyed and color-coded for easy, positive connecting.

Posi-Lok plugs feature recessed electrical contacts that are protected byshatter-resistant synthetic rubber insulators and impact-resistant moldedsleeves.

SpecificationsCooper Interconnect offers UL listed andGSA certified Posi-Lok Systems in the sizesyou need most...200, 315, and 400amperes. You can order optional 6-positionpanels which include a double neutralposition to solve harmonic problems in yourdistribution system.

These systems were designed with the userin mind. The 315 and 400 amp panels canbe installed into a standard 19-inch rack.The 200 amp panel requires as small as a13.5-inch wide space. See pages 8 and 18for mounting dimensions.

The Gam-Lok® double cam principleprovides a positive vibration-proofconnection. Just 1/3 of a turn assures ahigh pressure contact with minimumelectrical resistance. The self-wiping actionmaintains clean contact surfaces. Thepatented design is self-compensating forwear.

Posi-Lok panels are "Lockout-Tagout"compatible.

Lock the grounding cover and the entirepanel system cannot be used.

Lock the fourth cover when singlephase, 3-wire system is desired.

Lock fifth cover when 4-wire system isdesired.
