The axes of creativity and madness 3 Present work: We arrange meetings with the local government, the national government and possible partners in our region and try to explain WHAT a FabLab is and what were doing there. This is important but time-consuming. Pre-project now and to december 4 Focus We will focus on the large industries in our region - which is timber and wood processing, but our door will be open to anyone We will also establish a close relationship to all the public schools and high schools in our region 5 The Region - INNLANDET The potential is big and the different local communities need a success-story NOW. Our municipality has around inhabitants The region Innlandet has approximately inhabitants 6 Frontpage from one of the regions biggest Newspapers in June: Placing Lucky Nroset right in the middle of the world! 7 When? We hope to move into a temporary building during spring 2008 Opening summer 2008 We also hope to be able to start building our new FabLab early next year Where? The Fagernes school - an old building on campus - could be a possible FabLab Late we hope to move into our new facilities.
