    Quickguide: eQuest

    Use this process to: Post a Requisition to eQuest.

    Edit an eQuest posted advertisements.

    P os ting to eQues t

    Jobs must be posted onto a Career Section (the NSW jobs board or agency EOI), before you are able to

    post to external job boards (i.e. Seek or My Career), via eQuest.

    Posting a Requisit ion via eQuestFrom the Requisition list view:

    1. Click the Requisitions link in the auxiliary navigation bar. The Quick Search ResultsforRequisitions displays.

    2. Scroll over the title of the Requisition to be posted and click the dropdown that appears next tothe name.

    3. From the list that appears click the Posting and Sourcing.

    4. The Requisition opens and the Posting and Sourcing tab displays.

    5. To post the Requisition to an external job board, scroll down the form to .

    Alternatively, f rom within a Requisi tion:

    1. Select Posting and Sourcingfrom the More Actions dropdown menu, or select the Posting andSourcing tab.

    2. To post the Requisition to an external job board, scroll down the form to .

    3. If you have more than one eQuest account select the account to be billed from the accountdropdown.

    4. Click on to add the required external job boards.

    5. The Job Title and Requisition Numberare displayed in the top left corner along with theusername of the eQuest account.

    Note:All job posting data is verified and validated between e-Recruitment and eQuest. If prompted tomake any corrections, something did not validate. If this occurs, follow instructions within the yellowinformation block (shown below), to correct the issue. If the issue persists, contact the Client SupportCentre on 1800 562 679.

    6. Select the sites on which the position is to be advertised (on selection the box colour changes

    from grey to green).7. Click Post Jobbutton.

    8. Complete additional information requested (dependant on job boards selected). The selectionfor category should be Government. Ensure Government State Government arerecorded.

    9. Click Post Jobbutton. A final confirmation will be received and an opportunity to review theadvertisement.

    10. Review the job data. If fields require editing, navigate back into the e-Recruitment system tomake these changes. After changes are complete, return to Posting and Sourcing, and click EditJob.

    11. When satisfied all data is correct, click Post Job. The Job Boards (eQuest) window displays.

    E diting eQues t P os ted Advertis ements

    eQuest posted advertisements are able to be updated without incurring additional charges for reposting.

    Note if you unpost from JobsNSW it will automatically unpost from eQuest. Reposting will incur a

    charge.

    1. Make the required update to the job description field in the external description tabfor a

    Requisition that is already advertised on Jobs.NSW, Seek, My Career etc. If posting to EOIs

    (expression of interest boards), then update the job description field in the internal description

    tab. Save the changes to update the Requisition. Jobs.nsw and EOIs will update automatically.

    2. From the More Actions dropdown select the Posting and Sourcing or click on thePosting and

    Sourcing tab.

    3. Scroll down the Career Sections page to and click on Update All button.

    4. The system will confirm that the content of the Requisition has been updated.

    Note: The job board will be updated with the new content in accordance to the standard update times

    for that Job Board. The job board does not treat the updated description as a new advertisement and

    therefore no additional charges will be incurred.
