Editorial.Whether you want to cut an offline for your corporate video or edit your feature film, our editors are fully equipped to accept all challenges.

Finishing.With some of the best compositors in the region, using Smoke and Perth’s only Flame HD, your project will be finished to the highest standard.

Grading.Equipped to handle either short form or long form projects, we offer colour grading with a team of experienced colourists.

Motion Graphics & 3D.Our motion graphics designers and 3D animators can create anything from 2D animated sequences to complete 3D TVCs.

Sound.We have affiliations with a number of sound studios who can offer complete sound design, no matter what the job.

Production.Our dedicated post producer is on-hand to ensure that your project runs smoothly on-time and, of course, on-budget.

Although Sandbox is a new facility, our people are highly experienced

and very passionate. We can put together specialist teams for your

project or, if there are artists you wish to bring in, they’ll feel very

welcome and comfortable using our facilities. And, while we may not go

We’ve been around for a while...The names Doug Hampton and Hamdon Studios are not only highly regarded in the Western Australia screen, sound and advertising marketplace, but also nationally and globally.

A reliable headquarters for post production sound and general sound services in Perth, Hamdon Studios is popular all around Australia and overseas, having proven itself over many years. Services have included major dialogue replacement tasks for feature films and TV productions as well as total sound production.

Audio post-production for film and television

Curtin Productions is one of Western Australia’s leading audio post-production facilities. At the helm is owner-operator Ric Curtin, whose long career in sound has encompassed film, documentaries, television drama, series television and music, and who has been recognised by his peers by a Western Australian screen industry Practitioner of the Year award and by an Australian Government Centenary Medal for services to the film industry.

At the core of Curtin Productions’ operations are sound design, sound mixing and sound editing, using Pyramix digital audio technology. We are also able to draw on a well-established network of effects editors and foley artists, when needed.

Our work can be seen on air regularly in Australia, as well as in England on the BBC, ITV and Channel 4, and with 5.1 mixes going to Discovery Channel, History Channel and National Geographic HD for world-wide distribution.

Ric Curtin has been nominated twice (2012 and 2013), in the Best Sound category, for Australia’s prestigious national film and television industry awards, the AACTAs (from the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts, formerly AFI). He also received a Platinum Remi award for Sound Design from the 2010 World-fest Houston Film Festival, and has been acknowledged by the Australian Screen Sound Guild and the West Australian Screen Awards.

Ric has lectured in sound at several Western Australian tertiary institutions, and is a product specialist (Swiss-trained) for Pyramix digital audio workstations. He was a member of the ScreenWest board from 2004 to 2005, and is the current WA representative for the Australian Screen Sound Guild.

Through Curtin Productions, he is able to draw on a lifetime of experience in sound to offer consultancy services and to coordinate all aspects of a sound project, from pre-production to delivery.

CHROMA STUDIO FOR WET / DRY HIRE

QCumber Ð Green Screen Studios is a unique Þlm production company based in

OÕConnor Western Australia. The largest privately owned green screen

studio in Western Australia. We have grown over the last 7 years and evolved

with emerging technologies to satisfy our customer requirements in all facets of

chroma Þlming.

Our 145 sqm facility boasts a massive 7mtr x 7mtr x 3.2 mtr high green

screen area in Roscoe Digital Chroma Green paint Þnish.  We have roller door

access to the studio ßoor which can accommodate vehicles to the size of bobcats

and limousines.

To ensure a smooth chroma key is achieved we have a purpose built inÞnity

curved wall.  Additionally, there is a suspended bafßed ceiling to assist with audio

dampening and improve recorded audio quality .A technician is always onsite to

assist where required.  Additionally equipment is available from cables to

cameras.

The studio also provides a beautifully appointed reception room and green room

where the talent can undergo makeup and wardrobe changes.
