Collaborative (Joint) University - College Programs

Collaborative programs offer the combination of hands-on learning and theoretical approach.

Students may earn either one or two credentials— one from the college and/or one from the university.

University Application Fees

$140 for 3 program choices (All fees are non-refundable)

For each university/program choice in addition to your initial three, it will cost $47 per choice (All payments must be in Canadian Funds)

Maximum of three program choices at any one university

Payment methods include credit card and online banking.

Check your OUAC account and email regularly; this is how the universities will communicate with you.

Colleges offer a wide range of programs:

Create Challenge questions: select from the pull-down list, or create your own.

Password ‘rules’

Create an account by selecting a username and password.

Write down your username and password.(Keep your password in a safe place.)

Click the link to activate your account.

An activation email is also sent to the email on file.

You only need to activate your account using one method (screen or email).

Click the link to access the login screen.

Login using the username and password created during account sign up.

Application Home Screen

When you complete your application follow the order of the sections starting at the top of the list. A check mark will appear next to the section when completed.

Offers of Admission to College

• February 1 is the earliest date colleges may accept students.

• Offers of admission will continue to be sent out until programs are full or waitlisted

• Check your OCAS account and email regularly; this is how the colleges will communicate with you.

College Application Fees

$95 for 5 program choices only (no more than 3 program choices at one college)

How to Pay Your Application Fees Pay online using a credit card. Pay directly from your bank account with online

banking. Mail - by money order or certified cheque. Made

out to ontariocolleges.ca and should clearly indicate your application number

Supplementary Application Forms

◘ This form provides schools with more information about you - goals, past accomplishments, awards and extra-curricular activities.

◘ Important for both admission and scholarship consideration.

◘ Failure to submit this form may jeopardize the consideration of your application.

◘ Read everything carefully, meet the deadlines and make a professional email address.

Community Hours

◘ If you are planning to graduate at the end of June your community hour forms need to be handed in by June 5, 2015.

◘ If the volunteer hours are not completed you will not receive a diploma

Important Dates for University January 14, 2015 – Last day to apply online February 3, 2015 - Recommended last date

for students to make changes as well as adding new program choices

May 28, 2015 – The latest date applicants can expect a response from an Ontario university.

June 1, 2015 – Earliest date that Ontario universities may require a response to an offer of admission and a financial commitment of any kind.

Important Dates for College February 1, 2015 – Applications received

and paid for on or before this date will be given equal consideration by the colleges

May 1, 2015 – Confirm your offer of admission

June 15, 2015 – Earliest date colleges can require payment
