POST SHOW REPORT

2017

At CWIEME we believe advances in technology improve life experiences. CWIEME seeks to champion innovation in electrical engineering by enabling connections, sparking conversations and creating opportunities for the global community.

In its 22nd year, CWIEME Berlin 2017 peaked again in

what was a spectacular event for the coil winding, electric

motors and transformer manufacturing industries. In six

of the exhibition halls, all of which were fully booked, the

atmosphere was buzzing with more than 750 exhibitors

from 84 countries showcasing thousands of products and

technologies. Across the 3 days, we had a record of 6,700

highly qualified professionals from all over the world come

together to help shape the future of electrical engineering.

In addition to the exhibition, we were joined by industry

experts to deliver a high quality seminar programme

exploring the key technical trends, innovations and market

issues impacting the development of the electrical industries.

For the first time this year, we also hosted our first Global

Awards which celebrated excellence from across the electrical

engineering and manufacturing industries.

Thanks again for making CWIEME Berlin 2017 a great success.

We look forward to working with you on the next edition,

which will take place 19 -21 June 2018.

Haf Cennydd,International Portfolio Director - CWIEME

SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

Watch the show highlights

“I’ve been coming to this event all the way from Australia for 20 years now, and it just gets bigger and better every time – you need three days just to get round it all. There are many suppliers that return year-on-year but there are always some new and exciting companies too. It’s great for finding innovative new products that make life easier. The whole event is hard to fault; it’s really well marketed and the new matchmaking service is fantastic and really well organised.”

ALTRO Transformers, John Brullo, Managing Director

“Face-to-face interaction is one of the best things about CWIEME – it’s something you can’t beat when it comes to meeting old and new customers.”
