FAIR OVERVIEW
Taipei Int’l Mold & Die Industry Fair (TAIMOLD) organized by Taiwan Mold & Die Association, Additive Manufacturing Association of Taiwan, Chan Chao International Co., Ltd. and industrial experts, creating a professional diversity platform with several techniques forums and conferences to promote a communication between exhibitors and visitors. Combined with the hot issues of 3D printing and Industry 4.0, the trade fair has experienced a constant growth on exhibition scale and profit.

The booth number dropped slightly because of the restriction by other exhibitions; at the meanwhile, the
independence of 3D printing int’l exhibitions played as a vital role on exhibitor tendency. However, the number
of booth usage increases more than past two years.

Due to the restriction by other exhibitions, and the independence of 3D printing theme pavilion,
the exhibition booth number decreased slightly than last year. However, the number of booth
usage in average strengthens strongly than past two years, it means that the display area has
been expended each year gradually.

The visitor number has a significant growth during the show ; especially, the highest growth emerged on the first day

visitor number was 25% higher than last year, and made a breakthrough in the past record.

THE INDUSTRY CATEGORY OF VISITORS
Mechatronics
A large amount of visitors from mold industry attended this trade fair as anticipated, reaching to
23.5% as the major industry, follow by 21.1% from electronics, 19.6% from automobile, 15%
from IOT. According to the visitor analysis, the growth of the visitor numbers from electronics,
automobile and IOT, etc., showing that the majority of visitors were from downstream
application of mold industry, in short, searched the business partners and purchased the goods
onsite were the main purpose for them.

From the visitor survey, it reveals that 26% of visitors play in managerial roles, the general
