JULY 2014 Introducing Outage Reporting Online! Now you can report power outages from your computer or mobile device. NES has added an online feature to make it easier and more convenient to report an outage. Accessible through My Account at nespower.com, customers can now submit outages in a few seconds from their online profile and request a call back from NES to confirm when service has been restored. “NES is always looking to improve the customer experience, and with so many of our customers online, providing an easier way to report outages was important,” said Laurie Parker, NES corporate communications supervisor. “The quicker we know that your power is out, the quicker we can get your power back on.” Customers currently without an online profile should go ahead and register for My Account at nespower.com. This will help ensure faster outage reporting when the winter storm season rolls around. Reporting an outage by phone is still available by calling the automated outage reporting line at (615) 234-0000. Customers will need their NES account number, meter number or phone number associated with their account in order for the system to recognize the outage location.
