As a continuation of our Links to Learning™ curriculum, Preschool camp offers a fun-filled summer program for children 3 to 5. Each week preschoolers jump into action, participating in fun and exciting activities and special events.

Our preschoolers have the opportunity to expand their horizons during the summer, embarking on new adventures, and having fun! We create a summer experience that is unforgettable!

Although we want the children to have the best summer possible, we can’t forget about all they’ve learned during the school year.

Our Links to Learning™ summer curriculum is designed to review and strengthen skills taught during the school year. Various academic activities will be integrated throughout your child’s daily summer experience.

Our camp program will inspire your child’s mind to engage, explore, create and stay active this summer!

WEEK 2MusicInspired by appealing rhythms, little bodies revel in the discovery of musicality and movement. Guided by our music specialist, campers explore a variety of musical instruments and study their origin. Closed July 4th

WEEK 3WildernessChildren are born naturalists, constantly observing and exploring the world around them. Wilderness camp will encourage campers to use all five of their senses as they explore 3 local parks.

WEEK 6Pirate PaloozaAvast ye matey’s! Grab your treasure map and join us as we weigh anchor and hoist the Jolly Roger! This week is filled with fun crafts & activities which will have you dressing, walking, talking and eating like a Pirate.

WEEK 9Amazing AthletesA variety of individual and team sports and games appeal to every young child. More than fun, campers refine motor skills, body awareness, and hand-eye coordination, while tackling life-long leadership skills and team-building.

WEEK 4GymnasticsSomersault into a week of gymnastics and tumbling! We’ll learn basic tumbling moves, practice with real gear, and put together a routine with our gymnastics teammates.

WEEK 5Knights & PrincessesBrave Knights and Princesses are hereby called to slay the dragon and hold court at Castle Evergreen. Working together on kindness and manners, whilst using our imaginations and dressing from the royal wardrobe.

WEEK 1CookingThis is your camper's big chance to experience the art and science of cooking as they develop savvy culinary techniques, understand basic kitchen safety, explore global cuisines, prepare tasty meals and master the art of entertaining.

WEEK 2Road Trip USACelebrate our country’s birthday as campers learn all about the United States. The children will learn all about geography, traditions and more as they travel from state to state! Closed July 4th

WEEK 3Hiding in the Garden Insects, reptiles, animals and birds! Campers will take a closer look at things that creep and things that crawl, as we take a closer look into our own backyard.

WEEK 6It’s Hip to be HealthyThis week focuses on health by practicing fun exercise activities and how to fuel the body with proper nutrition. A heathy life is a happy life!

WEEK 9Water, Water EverywhereCampers will dive intoseaside adventures and learn about ocean creatures of the deep. They will also get hands-on learning with liquid science experiments. To cool off from the summer heat, a friendly water relay will be held outside.

WEEK 4Deep-Sea DiveThis week, our campers will discover what is below the ocean’s surface. From fish and mammals to shells and sand, come with us on a journey deep below the sea that will surely be wet and wild!

WEEK 5Discovering DinosaursThis week, we will explore

the world of the prehistoric.

Campers will dig for fossils,

hatch eggs, and learn just

how big the dinosaurs really

were!

WEEK 1Artful AnticsYoung Imaginations are free to soar while dabbling in paint, blending textures, developing patterns, creating recycled art and experimenting with paper mache`.

Base Camp 9-3Weekly Themes.

WEEK 8What’s Beyond the Moon?We will use our imaginations to board our space shuttle to take us to a far off galaxy and look at Earth from above. Campers will learn about objects in space including the solar system, stars and even create our own planet.

WEEK 7

Messy Mixtures & Experiments

Messy science experiences are the best kind. Our campers will be surprised to find out what goes into homemade play dough, “oobleck,” 3D sand painting and more. There will be lots to hypothesize this week.

Payment Policy : Please register my child in Evergreen Academy Issaquah 2017 for the weeks indicated above. I understand that camp

tuition is due on the first day of each week and is subject to a $25 late fee if not received by 12 pm Tuesday. I also understand that I am obligated to pay for all the weeks I have marked on this form, regardless of my child's attendance (camp tuition is non -refundable). I understand that changes in registration must be received in writing 14 days in advance in order to avoid a charge. I also understand that camp will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017, in observance of Independence Day. Extended Day hours are any 10 hours during the day

(including the full day) from 6:30-6:00, and a late pickup fee of $5.00 per minute is assessed after 6:00 PM.
