assist with every last detail. From dedicated planning professionals
and on-site technical experts, to a seasoned culinary team, everyone

STONE BUILDING & LAWN GARDENS (accommodates up to 300 guests)
Reminiscent of the abbeys constructed by European masons in the
late 1800’s; the Stone Building represents the traditions of wine
country. The cobblestone exterior appears to have been magically
transplanted from the valley’s vineyards while the adjoining garden is
a picturesque setting for exchanging vows and holding an elegant
cocktail reception.
The drama of the interior is achieved by the exposed beam ceiling,
generous amounts of natural light from the many windows and doors
leading to the garden and the charming fireplace. For the
convenience and comfort of your guests, the Stone Building is
equipped with an in-room bar, restrooms and can seat 120 guests to
dine.

THE STONE BUILDING PAVILION (accommodates up to 250 guests)
During the winter months, the Gardens will be covered with our
elegant Pavilion. The Pavilion has two sets of French Doors which
connects the Stone Building, or they can be used as a separate
venues. The Pavilion ceiling is beautifully draped with a white
colored swag and sparkling chandeliers. For your comfort, the
Pavilion is a fully enclosed structure with Heavenly Grass, heating
to keep your guests warm as well as windows to allow for natural
light during the day. The Pavilion can accommodate up to 250
guests for seated dining.

THE SONOMA BALLROOM & UPPER POOL DECK (accommodates up to 200 guests)
The Upper Pool Deck, adjacent to the Sonoma
Ballroom, is the perfect outdoor location for
your guests to mingle during the cocktail hour.
In the Sonoma Ballroom, your guests will enjoy dining
and dancing in sophisticated surroundings. The rich
palette of color and texture is the ideal stage for an
unforgettable event of up to 200 guests for seated
dining.

THE BLUE OAK ROOM & PATIO (accommodates up to 50 guests)
The Blue Oak Room & Patio is a quaint and intimate space, perfect for
a celebration of fewer than 50 guests. You and your closest friends
and family can enjoy a beautiful outdoor ceremony and cocktail
hour on the patio, and then head into the attached Blue Oak Room
for dining and dancing.

Here at the Lodge at Sonoma Resort & Spa, we are
pleased to include the following items in our Venue
Facility Fee in order to elevate your once-in-a-lifetime
event:
• 6 hour venue rental for Ceremony & Reception
• Bridal ready room
• Wooden trellis for the Ceremony
• Wine barrels, standing umbrellas & dance floor
• Banquet chairs (for indoor events)
• Garden chairs (for outdoor or indoor events) in white,
black, mahogany or natural wood
• The Lodge at Sonoma tables (dining, cocktail, cake,
guest book, gifts, coffee station, etc.)
• Standard linen tablecloths & napkins (available in
multiple colors), glassware, flatware, white china and
votive candles to place around centerpieces
• Table cards, menus and guest name cards
• Complimentary menu tasting for up to four (4) people
The Lodge at Sonoma requires each wedding to have one of
our professional Marriott® Certified Wedding Planners for a fee
of $400. You will be partnered with one of our on-site Marriott®
Certified Wedding Planners who will be your on-site contact
and work closely with you and your vendors to ensure the
perfect wedding. Services include:
• Assistance with the selection process of your wedding
vendors
• Advice and information about the local area
• Assist with any guest room needs
• Plan and host your menu tasting
• Conduct your rehearsal at The Lodge at Sonoma
• Create floor plans and timelines for your event(s)
• Set up wedding favors in your reception room
• Organize name cards, table cards and menus in reception
room (printing included)
• Oversee and coordinate your wedding ceremony and reception until cake cutting is complete

needs. Your closest friends and family have gathered from far
and wide to hear you speak those two little words we’ve all
been waiting for. Let us make sure they can hear you clearly
on your big day.
CORKAGE The Lodge at Sonoma Resort & Spa is the exclusive supplier
of all beverages. However, wine may be supplied by the host
with a corkage fee of $20, exclusive of service charge and
sales tax, per 750 ml bottle.
CHILDREN & VENDOR MEALS Meals for children younger than twelve years of age are
available upon request for $25, exclusive of service charge
and sales tax per child.
Meals for vendors are available upon request for $35,
exclusive of service charge and sales tax per person.
DECORATION Please consult with your Marriott® Certified Wedding Planner
regarding a wide range of decorative options. You Marriott®
Certified Wedding Planner must approve decorations prior to
arrival. Items may not be attached to any stationary surface
with nails, staples, or any other damaging substance.
DEPOSITS A non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is required at the time of
contract signature. A payment schedule will be further outlined
in your event contract. The balance of estimated charges is to
be fully pre-paid seven (7) calendar days prior to the actual
event. A credit card is required to be on file to bill any
additional charges that are incurred for final guest count and
day of event charges.
GIFT BAGS Should you have any gift bags for your guests that will be
staying with us, we would be delighted to assist you with
coordinating the delivery of your gifts. There will be a charge
of $6 per room for this service.
GUARANTEES The final banquet attendance count must be given to your
Marriott® Certified Wedding Planner three (3) business days
prior to your event date. This number is the guaranteed
attendance and cannot be reduced. In the event that a
guarantee is not provided three business days prior to the
wedding, the estimated guest count on the contract will
be the guaranteed number. Final charges are based on the
guaranteed banquet attendance number or the actual
number of guests, whichever is greater.

MUSIC Outdoor amplified music is
allowed in specified areas of the
resort. Any amplified music in the
Lodge Building or any outdoor
event space must end by 10:00
p.m. while events in the Stone
Building may continue past
10:00pm. The Lodge at Sonoma
Resort & Spa reserves the right to
approve musical entertainment
prior to your event and to
discontinue any music that
disturbs our other guests.
OVERTIME An overtime fee of $500 per hour
will be charged for weddings
exceeding the contracted event
time with notice prior to the day

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING Should you be shipping materials
associated with your upcoming

WEDDING REHEARSALS Your Marriott® Certified Wedding
Planners will schedule and assist in
conducting your wedding
rehearsal. Every effort will be
made to accommodate date,
time and location requests.

THE LODGE AT SONOMA
GUESTROOMS A wonderful advantage to hosting your wedding at The Lodge at Sonoma is
that your guests traveling from far and wide will have the convenience of
staying right here at the resort. We are pleased to offer a discount for guest
rooms throughout the wedding weekend. We do require that guests stay a
minimum of two nights.
RESORT FEE Room rates are subject to a Resort Fee of $37 per room, per night plus
applicable taxes and fees in effect at the time of check-in. Our Resort Fee
offers over $166 in daily value and includes in-room bottled water
replenished daily, complimentary local calls, complimentary daily parking,
daily lobby food & beverage delighters, resort shuttle to and from Sonoma
Plaza, complimentary enhanced Wi-Fi throughout hotel (does not apply to
meeting space), daily sangria offering (2 per room), daily yoga classes, daily
nature hikes, nightly wine tasting with local producers, and daily resort
exercise.

washes away stress and refreshes the soul. Our treatments draw upon the
natural healing properties of the region’s herbs, plants, minerals and fruits,

will have you emerge feeling radiant, fresh and vital.
