How It Came About

On March 23, 2010 President Obama signed

comprehensive health reform, the Patient Protection

and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) into law.

President Obama signed the Health Care

Reconciliation Act (HCRA) on March 30, 2010.

White House View – provide for expanded coverage,

decrease health care costs, improve quality, and

improve the health care delivery system.
