The Powershot is the proven leader in Propane and CNG diesel injection technology. We have built our reputation with thousands of satisfied customers worldwide. From the pick up owner looking for better fuel economy and power for towing, to the farmer, looking to reduce costs and increase power on tractors or irrigation pumps and generators, to the big rig owner operators looking to reduce their cost per mile and have some extra hill climbing power on tap, to fleets of any size looking to reduce maintenance and fuel costs, the Powershot system has delivered with proven and consistent results.
For over 17 years, we have provided turbo diesel owners from passenger cars, to over the road trucks with a proven solution to the high cost of diesel fuel and maintenance costs, with the introduction of our propane fumigation system, also known as propane injection. With its innovative proprietary and patented technology, results with a Powershot propane diesel injection system have always been superior to any other system on the market , those costing less and especially those costing thousands more. This established alternative fuel technology is designed to allow for the retrofit of diesel engines without the need to change or modify the design or operation of the engine. The system hardware is mounted externally and can be installed in less than one day.
Powershot Technology allows diesel engine owners to experience
substantial fuel savings while increasing performance, torque and
horsepower .
Our innovative and non-invasive technology delivers operational,
environmental and economic paybacks with a quick ROI.

“I put a system on one of the Glider trucks that has the Detroit
engine in it about a month ago and it is doing a great job. I
used one of the systems that I had for a Mack so it isn’t using
very much propane and needs to be tweaked but it did jump
the fuel mileage up .65.!! I hope when I have a chance to
adjust it I will get over 6mpg on those trucks.“ C.Brockl

"I tow my 2011 40' Bighorn 5th wheel camper with a 1993 Chevy Kodiak
powered by a Cat 3116 and Allison Automatic Transmission. I'm pulling about
16,000 lb camper loaded. I live in SW VA on top of one of the mountains, so
it's always down and up to go anywhere.
Cat 3116 mechanical fuel injection is a dog of a motor and other then
turning up the fuel, your only choice is a bigger turbo, injectors, and
manifolds at the tune of about $10.000+.
When I found the Power Shot 2000 I had my doubts, but after talking to the
people at Diesel Performance Products, I bought it. After the simple
installation, I took it out for a empty test run and there was a definite
improvement, not tire spinning, but the extra power I was hoping to get for
towing. As for better fuel mileage I can not say for sure because I have never
calculated it. Now, when I'm towing my 5th wheel camper I can keep up
with most of the traffic and can pass a lot of the big trucks. I have been
running the Power Shot 2000 for about 4 months and I can say it was well
worth my time and money and the truck is a hell of a lot of fun to drive now.
Thank You,
Robert
username: The Towles@ Vehicle Make: Beaver -Vehicle Model: Patriot 37' Engine Type: Cat 3126 300HP Comments: I have installed PS 2000 on this coach. Process didn't take a long time and only major work was drilling and tapping hole in side of intercooler inlet (that was white metal so was very easy to do, and you supplied enough fittings to make that happen. Had just about the right amount of hose and really didn't need the extra wire you sent. Dash already had a covered rectangular hole near ignition switch so installed switch panel there and installed gas control just behind LP tank in basement (used clamps on all hoses). Took a 200 mile test drive thru the Maine hills I-95 and secondary roads. Yikes! What a difference. Now when I step on 'throttle' pedal I go faster NOW not in a few minutes - really feels like a sports car instead of a bus. Don't know yet what real mileage gains are but if one can trust the SilverLeaf display average MPG has gone from 8.5 to 10+ - will know more after I fill tank a few times. Please use me for email reference anytime - only have cell phone so that gets expensive. Thanks again for simple but elegant gizmo and your accommodation of my non-pickup truck requirements.
2006 F350 6.0 Powerstroke 17mpg to 25mpg!!!! January 28, 2011 Here is the copy of the video I promised. The propane is turned on around 7 seconds into the video. Cruise control is set on 60mph. Fuel mileage averages around 16.5 to 17mpg with propane off and 24.5 to 26mpg with propane on. Example: 100k miles Averaging 16 mpg=6250gal of diesel. Averaging 24 mpg=4166gal of diesel. Savings= $7294.00 (diesel @ $3.50 per gallon) Propane use averages 1 gal lpg per 7 gal diesel. Propane cost $1505.00 Numbers don't lie. Adds around 100hp, lowered EGTs, reduced carbon and will extend oil change intervals. Shane Farkus 75 Truck Service Inc 419 E SR 44 Wildwood, fl 34785

Lowers Operating Costs !!
Off Road and Specialty Applications for every industry…,
Stationary Engines, Pumps, and
Generators are more powerful and fuel efficient.
Systems available for every size and purpose
• As much as 30% of the engine’s fuel demand can be replaced with propane gas. The Powershot system can be fitted to any stationary turbo charged or normally aspirated diesel engine.
• With the majority of these engines running at near constant loads and at constant revs, often for days or even weeks at a time, a much higher substitution rate, can be used, (vs. on road applications) resulting in significant cost reductions
• The system is mechanically controlled, using it’s proprietary design and technology using turbo boost pressure to determine engine load. Gas flow is monitored and metered by the boost signal, and is adjusted to suit operating conditions.
• No propane is introduced until the engine is running and has reached the threshold starting pressure. When the engine is shut down or it drops below the starting pressure(for any reason), gas flow will stop automatically, seamlessly reverting to running on diesel only.
• Due to the accelerated combustion, combustion temperatures are actually reduced - the fuel burns completely before the cylinder temperature can rise. This means operating temperatures do not increase - in some cases coolant temperature actually drops. Lower combustion temperatures also reduce NOx formation - a gas targeted by new emission regulations. Propane substitution is capped at 30%. Testing has shown substitution rates at a higher percentage (50% and above) can start reversing the benefits of substitution, leading to pre-ignition, localized hot-spotting and overheating in some engines - too much propane adversely alters the combustion characteristics beyond the engine design parameters (the flame propagation becomes too uncontrolled due to the higher octane rating of the propane - at 35% the diesel is still controlling combustion). The results are similar to over fuelling the engine with diesel. With only 35% propane, diesel is still meeting most of the fuel demand of the engine.

Enjoy all the benefits of a dual fuel vehicle for a fraction of the cost!
The EcoPower system for gasoline vehicles is a variable flow rate vapor injection system.
The flow of propane is controlled and activated with engine vacuum. The innovative,
patented method and design delivers a small controlled amount of propane/LPG (liquefied
petroleum gas) to produce modest "net " mileage gains of 4+ mpg in domestic pickups, SUV’s
and passenger vehicles.
Not a true "conversion" in the sense that your vehicle will always continue to run on regular
unleaded gasoline, the addition of a Fuel Saver Plus alternative fuel fumigation system, will
give you the green benefits, clean performance and mileage gains, without the cost and
hassle of a complete "dual fuel " conversion. The Fuel Saver Plus, uses a very small amount
of propane to produce the impressive mileage gains, so your cost per mile is greatly
reduced. Unlike our popular system for diesel vehicles, there is not a large increase in
power, but there is noticeable responsiveness. Other than the mileage gains, you may not
know the system is there!
The Fuel Saver Plus system comes complete with everything you need to install it,
except for the vapor propane tank. We have several different sizes and styles of
tanks available, depending on where you want to mount the tank (under the vehicle
or in the bed of a pickup, for example) and how large a tank you would like.
