Who  are  Pro  Player  Development?  

Based  in  Stoke  on  Trent  -­‐  Pro  Player  Development  has  been  created  to  provide  a  pla:orm  for  players  of  all  abili<es  to  achieve  a  level  of  performance  that  their  talent,  determina<on,  desire  and  enthusiasm  will  allow.  Furthermore,  this  programme  has  been  designed  to  go  above  and  beyond  the  football  pitch  to  help  young  players  /  people  achieve  successes  which  they  may  feel  aren’t  possible.  Nothing  is  impossible!

What  do  PPD  Offer?  

Soccer  Skills  Development  caters  for  70-­‐80  children  aged  between  3  &  8  years  of  age  and  provides  a  plaLorm  and  an  opportunity  to  all  young  boys  and  girls  to  enjoy  a  fun  and  exciOng  introducOon  to  early  learning  football!

The  PPD  story  so  far  By  being  a  part  of  Pro  Player  Development,  young  people  are  given  a  pla@orm  and  vision  in  taking  the  next  step  in  their  young  lives.  UlHmately,  we  are  designed  and  driven  towards  improving  the  overall  footballing  ability  of  the  boys.  However,  what  makes  Pro  Player  unique  is  we  provide  unrivalled  access  to  specialists  in  many  different  sporHng  and  business  fields,  which  the  boys  can  take  full  advantage  of.    We  pride  ourselves  on  being  the  best  footballing  insHtuHon  of  this  kind,  however,  our  biggest  and  most  powerful  aim  is  to  ensure  the  boys  make  the  most  of  this  special  phase  in  their  life,  and  they  go  on  to  improve  their  skills  and  experience  in  as  many  different  aspects  as  possible.        We  are  determined  and  focused  in  developing  young  players  to  allow  them  to  play  at  the  highest  level  of  football  possible,  but  more  importantly,  we  want  the  players  to  be  inspired  and  driven  in  achieving  success  in  their  lives,  no  ma_er  what  industry  they  go  into.    That  is  why  we  are  unique,  because  we  care  about  the  person,  not  just  the  player!  We  are  more  than  just  a  club!  We  are  a  Footballing  InsOtuOon.

Do  I  have  to  do  the  BTEC  Level  3?  The  simple  answer  is  no!  You  can  choose  any  

course  you  like  

What  if  I  don’t  achieve  those  grades?  You  would  sOll  be  able  to  do  the  scholarship  but  would  be  expected  to  do  addiOonal  classroom  work  to  improve  your  grades  

 

Edexcel  BTEC  Level  3  Extended  Diploma  in  Sport  (Performance  and  Excellence)  

The  course  is  180-­‐credit  and  684-­‐guided-­‐learning-­‐hour  (GLH)  qualificaOon  that  consists  of  nine  mandatory  units,  plus  opOonal  

units  that  provide  for  a  combined  total  of  180  credits.  

The  course  involves  approximately  12  hours  of  classroom-­‐based  acOvity  per  week,  combined  with  dedicated  daily  training  sessions  at  our  Academy  Training  facility  based  at  Staffordshire  University  –  located  5  minutes  from  the  

College  

The  EducaOon  Programme
