South Burlington Community Chorus Recruiting New Singers

Th e South Burlington Community Chorus invites you to Come ‘n Sing this Fall, with conductor Piero Bon-amico. Rehearsals start September 10th and are held on Tuesday eve-nings from 7-9 pm, in the Multi-

Purpose Room at the South Burlington High School. Th e Chorus welcomes anyone who likes to sing, no matter what your previous musical experience has (or has not) been. As long as you can match pitch with other singers, you are one of us! Come give singing with the Chorus a try! A Holiday Concert will be held in December. $50 Dues, plus cost of music. Th e fi rst four rehearsals are Free, so come try it out!

Th e Veterans Memorial at Dorset Park will be under construc-tion this Fall, and the schedule is based on completion by Vet-erans Day. Th e Annual Veterans Day Community Assembly will be held outside at the Memorial this year on November 11, beginning at 10am. Th e event is currently being planned, and this will coincide with the offi cial Opening of the Veterans Memorial! More information will appear in Th e Other Paper as the date draws near. Additionally, a Celebration & Dedica-tion of the Memorial is being planned for May 17 of 2014. Th is will include both a formal program, as part of the dedication, followed by an informal part of the day which will include live bands, food, and other entertainment for the whole family at Dorset Park. Th anks to everyone who has supported the Veter-ans Memorial Project in any way, the vision will soon become a reality!

REGISTRATION DEADLINESRegistration deadlines are set at 7 days prior to the start date of a program, unless otherwise stated. Registration will close when a program has reached its maximum number and a waiting list will be created. No registrations will be accepted aft er the second meeting of a program.

FEES & PAYMENTSPayment must be made in full at the time of registration, unless a deposit is allowed. Deposits are NOT refundable. Participants will not be allowed to attend a program until payment is paid in full. Payment must accompany all mailed-in registrations to be processed.

NOTIFICATIONA receipt, with program information and comments, is provided to all In-Person Registrations and emailed to all Mail-In and On-Line Registrations. We notify all registered participants of any changes or cancellations by email.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDSWe reserve the right to cancel or consolidate any program that does not meet the minimum participation number required. A full refund will be issued if we cancel.

REFUND POLICYRefunds are granted up to 7 days prior to the start of a program or activity. A $10.00 processing fee or the Deposit is deducted from all refunds. If there is an outstanding balance, the refund will be automatically applied and any remainder will be refunded. Any household credit must be used prior to June 30th of each year or they expire. Refund checks take approximately three weeks to process.

Th an waiting until the last minute to register! For a program to be successful it must have participants. We set our deadline at 7 days prior to the start of a program. Th is is to determine if the enroll-ment is suffi cient enough to off er it. If everyone waits until the day before to register, we have already cancelled the program!

MAIL- For fi rst time households, print off the Household Information Form from our website, and fi ll out completely. If you are already in our system print and fi ll out the Mail-In Registration form. Mail with full payment to:
