Alvarions BreezeNET B has an MTBF of over 11 years. It offers advanced redundancy and backup options to support mission critical operations. In fact, both product families are carrier grade and are used by telephone companies around the world as part of their communication networks. Most companies can save a great deal of money by replacing leased lines with BreezeNET B. With broadband wireless access solutions there are potentially no recurring communication costs, and you own the network. Moreover, BreezeNET B10 offers an attractive entry level option which is amongst the best cost/performance solutions in the industry. Wi-Fi is an indoor technology that was also adopted for outdoor usage. However, it is not designed for outdoor and therefore not optimized for outdoor conditions and services like WiMAX and BreezeNET B. BreezeNET B was planned from bottom up to optimize air link and increase its value for outdoor services in terms of coverage, capacity, outdoor usage, reliability and feature set. From a convergence aspect, BreezeNET B has a high range of 30+ km as opposed to ~1 km for Wi-Fi.

BreezeNET B14 and B28 are upgradeable to B100. Upgrade to B300 is not supported.

BreezeNET B300 offers support for an array of frequencies extending from 4.9 GHz to 5.9 GHz. This support is configurable from a single platform.Traffic latency may vary based on a number of parameters such as packet size. Maximal latency is 7 msec and minimal latency is 1 msec. Maximal link capacity is 250 Mbps aggregated throughput.
