Swan Green Ripley Crystal Fish Rock L. Wisconsin
Nearshore Surveys: Fish Species Collected
Preliminary Findings
• 26 native species found
• 2 rare species found
• Severe Cyanobacteria blooms limited survey effectiveness
• The Cyanobacteria blooms also pose an environmental threat including low dissolved oxygen levels and toxicity.
• A mix of boulders and smaller rocks sizes appears to be better habitat than just riprap boulders.
